    Classic Hip Hop Album.

It has been more than 10 years since this album was released, which has given us, the audience, time to reflect how we view this album. This album, to me, is not only a classic West Coast Gangster Rap album, but a classic Hip Hop album in general. The Game really came out of the gate roaring with this album, like Snoop with "Doggystlye" or Kanye West with "The College Dropout", in the sense that this album feels like it was from someone that is a veteran and a well-rounded artist; rather than an artist that shows potential in their first album, but is still green and needs a lot of growing to do. The subject matter of this album is mostly about Game's life experiences from his childhood to now being a rising star in the Hip Hop world. The lyrics feel authentic and never forced. Game doesn't come off as flashy or ostentatious, but, rather, an individual just telling their story and you, the audience, can take it how you want. Many of the songs invoke emotional responses, like "Hate It or Love It" or "Dreams"; and have uplifting messages rooted in them. Another thing that is great about the album is that there is a substantial amount of content, being that there are 18 tracks. Last, unlike many albums where only 1-3 tracks are good and the rest are just terrible filler to make an album, most of the 18 tracks are great and are worthy of an audience. So, is this album worth a purchase and being apart of your music collection? Yes. This is a must buy for any Hip Hop fan.

This album features The Game as a hip hope new comer who was destined to bring attention back to West Coast hip hop. Using blood gang affiliation, co signs from Dr Dre and 50 Cent, and blending west coast hip hop topics/content with east coast style flows, The Game was able to make a name for himself and grab attention very quickly. The album features very diverse production that will be fulfilling to all hip hop listeners. The Game is a new comer on this album, and a little unpolished at times by he showed great promise throughout the album and still satisfies throughout. This is the best bicoastal album since Doggystyle. Classic.

Jayceon Taylor entered the rap game with a co-sign from Dr. Dre, who helped him craft a great debut album that brings you back to the 90s with G-Funk influence, as well as some chart topping singles that pushed this album to platinum status including Love It or Hate It and How We Do
