ESO Game card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The card works just as you would expect. It also works if you bought ESO through Steam. So if you do not want to or can not get a sub through steam you can just buy the time card and you are good to go. You do have to login to your ESO account through the ESO website to input the time code on the card.

Beware! Some cards are invalid
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one of these cards at my local Best Buy. When I tried to redeem it online on my account page (I had already purchased and activated the game itself some time ago), it gave me the error message "Invalid code". ESO tech support (whom you contact by phone with 3+ hour hold time or email and hope they get back to you within a couple of days) initially told me to return to Best Buy and exchange the card for another as it was not a valid code. I returned to Best Buy, and they were absolutely NO HELP whatsoever- they would not let me return or exchange the card and suggested calling Best Buy corporate for possible help. So I waited on hold for another 3 hrs for ESO support and this time the support staff told me that many of these prepaid cards are older and their codes have been deactivated. I had to email in pics of my card and receipt, and in a few days ESO is supposed to email me a valid code. What a hassle! Not work the risk of getting an old deactivated card if Best Buy won't let you exchange them. I realize there would be people who would take advantage of such an exchange, but I would have been more than happy to log into my account on a computer at their store with them watching to test if the card was valid. I'm very disappointed in Best Buy. If you search online, this has been an issue with cards purchased from other retailers too (gamestop, etc). The difference is that the other vendors let the customers exchange the cards for different ones.
