I have heard a lot about the Elder Scrolls games for a long time now... but could never bring myself to buy one because of the first person melee view. Well.... I finally broke-down and bought Skyrim to try it out and I cannot get enough. The story is epic and the game itself is extremely vast and complex. You could play this game a number of times and not even remotely have the same experience. It also has a excellent third person view if you are someone like me who does not like first person. There are only a couple things that get frustrating about this game. 1. You constantly are going in and out of your menu to swap your weapons or use different magics, etc. They have a "favorites" button that helps but it can still be frustrating. 2. You run out of bag space very quickly and have to make trips back to towns often to empty them. (But this does give it a more realistic feel) Other than that it is an amazing game. Almost want to go back and play the others because of this one.

After playing this on an XBOX, decided to move to the PC to play. Same game play. Same fun. More controls!

One of my favorite X-Box is more affordable on PC! This is a really fun and challenging game where there's so much to do outside of the main storyline. I get a little bored of going into caves and fortresses constantly to look for lost items, but at least there's a lot to do and explore. Oh, and this game is compatable with Windows 8.1, just in case anyone was wondering.

My son has this game on PS3 and really wanted it for his laptop. After much convincing, I bought it for him. I have played it as well and the story is great. I love that you have so many options in the game and a lot of open play.

This game was on my list for a few years before I was able to purchase it. So far it has been a blast and quite challenging. It has a huge variety of things to do with no one story line to follow. It is an open world which I love. The graphics are sub-par but with a few mods it will become the best looking game you've ever played! I highly recommend

I absolutely love this game. It came in on time, fairly early, and for a game like this, relatively cheap. Easy to set up and control, minor option problems that were soon fixed. Get rights into the story to allow the player to gain control, very exciting and fun. I would recommend it for teens and young adults with nothing to do because it's gonna take up all your time.

This game is great. I actually already own this game for my game console, and loved it so much I had to get it for my computer as well. the computer version is equally as good.

I absolutely love this game on the PC. I own a copy skyrim on both the PC and the Xbox 360 and love them both but I like the graphics better on my PC. This game is a must for any fantasy lover.

The game is awesome.....a little hard to play in the beginning. Im not really a gamer...but if you hang in there its totally worth it!!

I haven't gotten into the game very far, but from what I can tell it's a really good game, I'm more of a mmo person and I can't wait till this gets released online.

This RPG is a must play game. I easily logged 300 hours in the game and mods add enormous amounts of additional content. A must buy for anyone interested in the Elder Scrolls series.

I don't play a lot of games, but have been glued to this one. Challenging without being too crazy.

This game offers excellent graphics and movement. There are plenty of character interactions and multiple scenarios. The interface is easy to understand and manipulate.

The varity of the game is great. Fun to play. I dont like the traveling around.

Good game, once I get used to the controls, I'm sure it will be a great game. Game play is fun and trying new skills out is also.

This is my first foray into the Elder Scrolls / Skyrim series of games - it took a little getting used to and there are some occasional glitches in gameplay, but they're pretty minor. (I have a pretty high-end system, well above the recommendations in all particulars, so there's no hardware bottleneck issues.)

Pros: -Great graphics -Open world -Huge map -A ton of quest and side-quest -Modding that is only limited by your imagination of the world -Engaging story -Some moments that can only be described as Epic. -The patches seem to be improving game preformance and playability -I heard they where releasing DLC -Werewolves are back -So many weapons and skills to improve. -The class system is smoother and completely customizable. Cons: -The story is too short only 23 -30 hours and that is if you take your time -The story does not impact the world as it did in the previous versions. Conclusion: The soundtrack, story, characters, emersion factor, which is you feel attached to the world, was all much greater in Morrowind, but in this one is it just lacking something. This game is still a good game, but I was looking for the Morrowind feel like I got years ago in 2006 when I bought it. I felt that the world in Morrowind was real, I felt like I worked for the skills I earned, and I felt like my blood, sweat, and tears went into Morrowind. I believe I spent close to 80 hours finishing the main story on Morrowind, but it was worth every hour to finish the epic story. Compared to Morrowind's story this game is below Morrowind standards, but it is still worthy of the title Elder Scrolls. The game is not done, there are still exspansion that could be made and this game could end up being as good or better then its predicessors, but until then is gets only 4/5 from me. Story .............................................. 3/5 (too short and not enough impact# graphics........................ 5/5 #with a potential to be higher with modding# Gameplay .............5/5 #Great combat system with slight improvements# Engine...............4.8/5 #It has come a long way from the release issues)

I have not had this much fun in a video game in years. The freedom of play makes this game so immersive that if I am not careful hours will zip by before I realize it.

I have to play with my headphones on cause ita so great and the action needs to be loud.
