I bought this for my brother for his birthday and I got to watch him play it for several hours it's pretty cool looking and seems to follow the first one

I had mixed feelings about the first one, but while this one starts off slow, it definitely picks up and gets interesting, with plenty of scares and gore. I would recommend it after it drops in price.

I HAD FORGOTTEN THIS GAME WAS COMING OUT; PICKED IT UP THE DAY IT CAME OUT IN THE END. MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE IN MY OPINION PLUS WITH THE GAMER CLUB DISCOUNT IT WAS A GREAT DISCOUNT TO GET IT.

I wanted to rate this 3.5 to be exact. With a much needed difficulty option included, this game can be enjoyed much more for it's story than the first game. The open world nature is a nice welcome but empty. I found the flashbacks annoying and repetitive. The main enemy uses photography in very creative ways but the character itself is forgettable. Other bigger enemies you run across look interesting and fun to fight.

This game is a good survival game with a little spooky. Definitely recommended to friends it's a good game and not as terrifying as most people think.

This game improves a lot of things from the original one and it's much better horror game. If you like the first one, you'll enjoy this one as well

Great game that does everything better than the original. Story is way more understandable, it's paced well, and great scares. Definitely worth it!

For those of you who wasn't crazy with the first Evil Within the second one will make up for it graphics and storyline chilling pick it up today

Did you like resident evil 4? Did you like the evil within 1 (resident evil 4 again)? You'll enjoy the evil within 2 (resident evil 4 again 2)

One thing: this game has flaws, but overall if you played the first one you knew what you were getting into!!!! A great gift for a little spook before Halloween! Well received in my opinion!

Great game. Similar yet fresh in comparison to the first game. Intense gameplay and lots of fun to explore. Happy to have it in my collection.

Scary game with more twists and turns than the first game. This game has more cinematic cutscenes which is good but the controls could use a rework with camera angles while you are playing.

Much like the first, so if you were a fan of that definitely pick this one up. Also has a few Silent Hill and Resident Evil elements thrown in. Great entry into the survival horror genre.

I loved the first game and I like this one even more, the semi open world is a nice touch and the STEM world is as terrifying as expected.

I loved when I purchased the The Evil Within 1 that I played it 3 consecutive times. Love the graphics, the gore and the story line. I'm barely half way into part 2 but so fa it hasn't disappointed. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Picks up where the first one ended but definitely improved on the story aspect and embraces the twist from part one from the beginning.

If you count Resident Evil 4 as one of your favorites (and if you've purchased it on as many devices as I have), it's time you nab a copy of The Evil Within 2. Shinji Miami is back with an action packed survival horror game with a bit of an open world, but plenty of head popping and rediculous set pieces. Buy it!

-This game lives up to the hype in my opinion. At times challenging (but hey who doesn't like a challenge) and very well thought out and executed jump scares, difficult to predict.

Wasn't sure how to feel about it at first because it's so different than the first evil within but I've grown to love it. Certain parts seem easier and others seem harder but overall it's a good update. I hope they come out with more DLC for this version too because I enjoy playing the series. Love the new "go at your own pace" and open map exploring compared to the first one which had a very limited path. I enjoy scavenging for items before a boss fight and there are plenty of areas for this in the new STEM. Buy it!
