The graphics on the game are great and I love it when a game keeps my attention!

Good survival horror game! Would recommend this to fans of survival horror games!

The best version of the game out there... The Evil Within's paranormal setting gives the director free reign to play with notions of reality in a way that resembles Team Silent's best. Crumbling hospitals, dilapidated prisons, the odd, dreamlike feeling that none of the spaces you inhabit bear much relation to any real-world rules: you wouldn't be surprised to bump into James Sunderland. Does the combination work? It does, even if The Evil Within doesn't hit the heights of Mikami's previous work. It's a game that expertly sustains a feeling of dread, and knows when to ratchet up the feeling of being utterly overwhelmed, first slowly then suddenly in a way that induces sheer panic, much like Resi 4 before it. There's a satisfaction to combat that feels distinctly Mikami - every encounter is a test, a potential last stand, and it takes true skill to come out alive. Choices have to be made - do you use the various tricks and traps against your enemy, or break them down into ammo for your multi-purpose bow? It's up to you, which makes combat so much fun. At times it feels like a Mikami megamix: it has the village with the chainsaw-wielding dude, another mansion, etc. But Mikami does this so well it's difficult to get annoyed. It's not unusual for directors in either film or games to recall past glories, and few do it better than Mikami. Even though this isn't his best, The Evil Within has enough magic to make it a worthy investment.

Reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 4. Getting it for $19.99 was a no brainer.

This is a slower paced game than others. The story is cool and the graphics and suspense are great. It did take me a little getting used to, since you do not perform many actions in the beginning. If you like horror games, then check this game out.

Nice mix of last of us with a little resident evil. Fun to play at night.

Great game graphics are sweet and awesome to get into the angles are kind of hard when walking ad shooting but oter than that great over all around .

This game is intense and will keep you guessing on what is really going to happen next. The graphics are really good and I like that you can ajust the picture grain. The controls are a little more complex than other games I am used to playing but just takes time to get used too. It is a challenge on survivor difficulty and I recommend playing it on this level if you buy the game.

The game starts out slow little scary, nothing like I was hopin but the game is just really good graphics are good the game keeps you on ur toes at all times. Highly recommended if ur into a good story game with lots of different weapons..

This game will keep you in the edge. It is really for a very mature audience so becareful how loud the volume is around the family. Great graphics.

great video game and it wont disappoint as i just beat it a while ago

This game reminded me so much of resident evil. The monsters the puzzles and the mansion but the story was more twisted. The game also had more gore than the first resident evil. If you like the 1st resident evil you'll enjoy this game.

This game is definitely reminiscent fo Resident Evil 4, due to having the same director. Although it's not as good, it definitely isn't a bad game. A recent patch enables players to remove the black bars above and below the screen, which is one the biggest complaints the game had. Overall, it's a decent game with some decent DLC for those who desire more.

Great long to finish game with all the gore you you will ever need.
