The Eyes Of My Mother is one weird movie. It’s very strange and quite disturbing at times. The black and white color gives it a very spooky look too I think. Some really messed up scenes in this one. If you watch it, you’ll know what I mean. My only complaint, it’s pretty short. A very well shot horror movie though, I would definitely recommend. The music goes very well too with the creepiness .

If you watch a lot of horror films, then you should check this one out. It's genuinely creepy and keeps you guessing. If you're looking for a lot of gore and action, then it's probably not for you. It's more of an art film, but it's very well-done and has an original premise.

The Eyes of My Mother is an exceptional debut film and a great addition to what has been a recent renaissance in horror cinema. Be warned that if horror means some sort of supernatural element to you, this will not meet that requirement. This is pure psychological horror and successful in being incredibly unsettling. The black and white cinematography is gorgeous, the performances are all top notch, and the screenplay and editing are very tight without a single wasted minute in the final cut. Highly recommended.

Shot in black & white, this a moody little horror flick with some striking moments. It's fairly short, which is actually fine for such a spare story. Recommended for fans of slow, artful horror.
