A very classic made film with great drama and twists

I liked the movie (still not sure why, though) and have recommended it to many people, but with reservations, because it is truly not for everyone.

The Favourite should have won the Best Picture Oscar, especially over Green Book. Despite the lack of a UHD release, the film sparkles on Blu-ray!

Wanted to see this in the theatre when first advertised but never made it . If you thought the previews were good, then you will like this movie!

Yorgos Lanthimos is known for his very out of the box, yet original and great films. The Favourite is not as wild as Killing of the Sacred Deer, but it does work as a “historical” picture with wonderful and funny performances by Olivia, Emma, and Rachel.

I was a little surprised that the movie did not have a nicer pace and more interesting acting and story line. I generally love watching movies depicting the medieval times with monarchs but this movie was a bit drawn out and lacking enthusiasm.

The movie was great. But to watch it with young children I don't recommend it because of sexual scenes that they must not watch.

Not only did I want to watch it because it was nominated for an Oscar but also the actresses that starred in it. It was a funny movie.

I enjoyed this, while it’s not a face paced movie, it’s still fun to watch especially if you’re into the Oscar winning movies

This film is a not very historically accurate depiction of a struggle for influence in the early 18th century British court. It focuses upon two women competing to become the favourite of Queen Anne. The video and audio presentations are excellent. There are few extras, not including any commentary by a historian about the film's historical inaccuracies. If you like a story of intriguing for power at the highest levels of court depicted like a soap opera, this Blu-Ray should please.

The Favorite was superbly acted, the costumes are outstanding, and the richness of the surroundings are out of this world!
