The steelbook has a very good presentation, the movie is not bad but the cgi in some scenes the truth looks very bad and the DC collection could not be incomplete

"The Flash"

"The Flash" is the 13th installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) with Ezra Miller reprising his role as the title character. After failing to gather enough evidence to clear his father of murdering his mother, Barry Allen (Miller) decides to use his powers to go back in time and alter the past to save his parents' future. However, Barry soon realizes that this causes an unusual chain of events, a butterfly effect. Not only does this alteration change the fate of his future, but the future of the planet itself...as Barry is shifted into an alternate reality. Teaming up with an alternate version of himself (also Miller), the two Barrys embark on quite the paradoxical adventure, where General Zod (Michael Shannon) is back to destroy the planet, and Superman no where to be found. With cameo appearances from Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) as the film starts, we are then gifted with a wonderful supporting performance from Michael Keaton reprising his much anticipated return to the Batman role, representing the Batman/Bruce Wayne of this alternate reality. We are also introduced to Supergirl (Sasha Calle) in this alternate universe...which along with Keaton's Batman and two versions of The Flash, make quite an intriguing Justice League. "The Flash" is a visceral rollercoaster ride...action-packed, wild and fun, sporadically campy, and surprisingly touching...all in all, a good movie and great entertainment.

After the production ran in circles for the better part of a decade, THE FLASH is finally here and it's... really good. A sometimes Looney Tunes-ish mashup of Back to the Future with Last Action Hero and a dash of Sliders, wrapped in a tangled web of electrical arcs. True to what's been passed around social media, the visual effects take some gigantic swings - most work exactly as much as they need to, and the ones that don't are fleeting enough that only someone actively looking to be bothered will be. As the apparent swan-song for Zack Snyder's DC Universe (barring whatever Aquaman 2 has to offer), THE FLASH is highly entertaining, and regardless the discourse, it's neither an act of erasure nor is it anything remotely resembling the studio hackjob of Josstice League.

This movie had a LOT going against it, but I still supported it in the theater more than once, and preordered this long before its release. Love the alternate steelbook case! As far as the movie, I enjoyed it thoroughly even if some visual effects were a bit wonky at times. The story was pretty good, in my opinion, and it is ALWAYS great to see Keaton back in the batsuit! Ezra actually did very well in this movie playing more than one character. They did it in a manner that was very believable, and it was nice to see a different take on the existing DCEU. Too bad the studio heads got too involved and destroyed what this movie was supposed to set up. Overall, if you’re a DC fan, it’s an easy pick up!

Excellent Steelbook of a very unfairly unappreciated movie. The story is a great, and sure, it is mainly a fan-please film based on nostalgia. It shows alternative world and what ifs, but even with some story caveats and untold/unshown part of the story it is still a tour de force that deserve to be seen. It will probably join this long list of cult film that flopped at the box office but that will be rediscovered for what it truly is: a great entertaining film. they truly are : a great entertaining film.
My only deception is the lack of bonus. A director cut or even a few deleted scene or interviews would have been appreciated.

Eventhough it's a stripped bastardization of the Flashpoint comic storyline, THE FLASH is still an entertaining cap-end to the DC Snyderverse. Sometimes the Special Effects seem undercooked, especially shown here in all of its ultra HD 4K glory. But at least the action scenes are well crafted and exciting. Ezra Miller's real life criminal/controversial antics became box office poison. Which is a real shame because he is a talented actor and showed alot of range in this movie.

This movie did poorly at the box office, but I thought it was perfectly watchable. Some of the CGI are indeed not great, but I enjoyed it. It helps if you have a decent background knowledge of older DC superhero movies, TV shows, etc. to catch all the in-references and nostalgia.
I thought it was a better movie than WW84 (easily), and liked it better than Aquaman (good first half, terrible second half). Of course, I also enjoyed Black Adam.

This wasn't the flash movie I wanted, but it ended up being a great film and greatly enjoyed this movie. This film is filled with action, suspense, and action balanced. Miller's performance in certain scene shows off his acting. Keaton's and Calle's performances makes the fim just as good. I would for sure recommend his fim. Does it have it flaws- yes, but what superhero movie doesn't.

Being a DC fan, I really enjoyed this movie. Even some of my non DC fan friends had a great time watching this one. From the 89 Batman nostalgia to the Superman’s. The story of flash was made to bring the multiverse together. The CGI could have been better, and maybe a little more flash point would have been nice, but I still enjoyed it and ended up seeing a few times when it came out.

It's a nice steelbook for collectors, especially if you are a fan of the Flash. The Flash logo really stands out for the cover. The movie itself however is a disappointment to say the least after years of delay. The special effects are bad, and the cameos felt shoehorned. Seeing Michael Keaton as Batman again was a plus but story left more questions than answers.

This film got a lot of hate because of the star's problems (Miller) and simply because it's a DC superhero film. Every DC film has been overly criticized. It's actually a pretty good movie. One of Miller's characters is pretty good (watch and you'll understand), and then Batman and Supergirl are really terrific. I'd like to see what would have happened if this had been made/released on time and especially before the announcement of a DC revamp. The film looks great on 4K, the steelbook is cool, and the extras are very interesting. I'm disappointed that they didn't release all of the cut scenes, maybe because of all the tinkering done to it, which is why I knocked it down to 3 stars. Other than that, and the bad CGI in parts (most of it when he's in the speed force which is an effect the director wanted but it doesn't work well), it's good movie and an inventive way to do the Flashpoint story. Not nearly as good as the animated movie version, which was better than the comic series, but it's good.

Despite some incredibly subpar cgi moments (Thor: Love and Thunder bad) and the most obvious controversy, The Flash is a well done CBM with its stellar cast (Miller, Keaton, Calle), fast paced runtime, charming humor, dazzling cinematography, and captivating storytelling that can stand as its own.

BestBuy's Steel book is always packed full of extra features and a very nice case. I loved this movie and I'm not sure why it got all the hate it did. Is it the greatest comic book movie ever? No. but it's still really good with a lot of fan service and plenty of easter eggs for us comic geeks. It's not perfect, but it's a fun movie and a good watch.

Movie itself is horrible, if you like Steelbooks this is great. I love that it has The Flash logo at the front of the case, ver much bought it to go with my Shazam steelbook. Kinda wish the rest of the DC superhero steelbooks came like this. Cool concept. Kinda dropped the ball on Black Adam's steelbook going this same style

I'll start by saying I love to collect steelbooks, regarding the movie, it was mediocre at best. I don't like the direction / directions they were going. overall movie was 6/10. Steelbooks case is nice, wish it had more texture to it, nice red color pops off my media display. Steelbook 8/10. I'd wait for it be $25 or less

Movie was ok. DC tries so hard and just keeps making bad movies, but at least they are trying. There were some enjoyable parts of this movie and it could have been so much better if they had just made it a live action version of the animated smash that was previously released. That would have been cool. Worth a watch though.
