My girls love the current Flash television series and now that they have adjusted to a different cast, they are loving this older series. Because of the age of this show, this show is more appropriate for younger children than the current edition.

Some will only recognize this guy as the Silver Age Flash on the CW Flash series now, but he had his own series as the 1st Flash in the 80's! These were classic! Mark Hamill was even on this show! It's a much watch if you appreciate the classics!!!!

The complete series of "The Flash" is about the DC Comics character "Barry Allen", a costumed crimefighter whose power is to move at superhuman speeds. Interesting storylines, good acting and neat costumes abound in this 55 episode television show.

It's interesting to contrast this series with the current Flash, this was a lighter take on the theme.. The special effects were state-of-the-art then, be gentle with them now! I bought this as a gift, the price was very reasonable.

Too bad it only lasted one season, but we'll worth picking up if you like the new show, especially since the 2 main characters make appeared especially in season 2 and 3. Wish there was a blue ray of this.

It is fun to see this series from the 90's. The actor that plays the Flash plays the father of the Flash in the current series on the CW. This series is obviously influenced by the 1989 "Batman" movie with its Art Deco look.

This series was one of my favorite shows when it was on prime time. I was really disappointed when it was canceled. When I saw this complete package of all the episodes I had to get it. I've enjoyed watching these shows again.

if you love dc superheroes the way that i remember them,then this is the flash for you.stays truer to the flash then the new series and john is a much better flash.for some great entertainment this is the one to buy.

I was so thrilled to find this at Best Buy . I remember this show when it first came out on CBS quite a few years ago and loved it ! When the new series started I really wanted to see the old series again . I love it!!

If you are a fan of Arrow or the Flash show that is currently on tv, you will love this box set. John Wesley Shipp plays Barry Allen with a lot of bravado, and Amanda Pays is a great straight-woman compliment to his antics.

If you are nostalgic, then this series is for you. Nothing like the New "Flash" series. It doesn't have all of the special effects that in todays world of television one has, but gives a decent story.

With tge popularity of CWs The Flash it is great to go back a generation and see the best Flash series until the CWs. If you pay attention, you'll see actors in this series that are on the CW series. Great fun!

My son liked the idea of watching flash. We are 2 seasons behind so we bought season 1 to check it out. We got hooked, and just ordered season 2. I like the story lines, the kids like the superpowers.
