Sub-Par Sequel, But Still Worth It
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The original movie was always a favorite of mine growing up, so getting this set was an easy choice. The sequel is unnecessary and doesn't really fit the time line of the original movie, but it's more than worth the money just to have the original, whether you watch/like the sequel or not.

Daughter loves this DVD

My daughter actually liked the 2nd movie better than the first! Although, there is a part in the 2nd movie with a bear that did scare her during her first viewing. And, in the first one she did cry when the fox was sent away.

Original movie is decent, LACKING BLU RAY PACKAGE

You do not mind watching it from time to time, you do not want to watch it again right after because it does not have the "sparkle" of the big Disney hit films. Why was a sequel made for it? NO CLUE Disney ran out of idea, so they rehashed moderately successful films? I have never seen the sequel & now that I have it in my hands per this package I am NOT going to change my mind about it. The music fit the film, did NOT stand out as songs you will remember years later. Now, for this package. The blu ray has BOTH FILMS ON IT If you are a fan & looking for extras-do NOT look at the blu ray disc. Now, each film has a separate plain, silver DVD disc. The DVD's have better extras than the blu ray? Does this make sense, NO. What were you thinking Disney. Kids will like the original better than adults in my mind. Decent original film, UNNECESSARY SEQUEL & POOR DISNEY BLU RAY/DVD PACKAGE

Good Movie, Poor Blu-ray conversion

They’re plenty of scenes that would go blurry like they forgot to update and sharpen the movie. What a shame Disney. Also the highlight of the DVD extra's was the timon and pumba 3D ad. One of the links didn't even work...
