I bought this because it was on sale on blu-ray. There are just some movies that must be bought on blu-ray, this isn't one of them. The movie itself I still think is good. Not enough Sean Penn though.

Watched this in whole for the first time. It was ok, but thought it was a little fake. The ending is a surprise. Good movie but not in my top 25.

David Fincher directs this thriller starring Sean Penn and Michael Douglas. It's not one of Fincher's finest but its worth the watch.

I am a huge David Fincher fan. I loved Seven, Zodiac and Fight Club and thought The Game was quite good too but falls somewhat short of the standard set in the previously mentioned three. I liked the complex and interesting plot line in The Game and thought the acting was first rate. I expected a bit more pop from the cinematography given the Criterion treatment it received.Overall, a decent blu ray worthy of purchase.

well the game is one of the most shocking movies i have ever seen it is a great thriller from start to finish and it keeps in your seat through out the whole movie and if you like to watch a movie that you don't see what is coming next than i would watch the game so check it out

Michael Douglas, trapped in a frenetic game of shadows, is brilliant as Nicholas Van Orton, as he tries to figure out whether he's involved in a "game" or involved in a cerebral journey to the deepest depths of the unknown.

This is a great movie with an ending that does not disappoint. The ride is well worth it. Michael Douglas is fantastic in this. You should definitely give this a shot.

Great movie, you have to see it. I love the twists and turns. You never really know what to believe. Great movie that is now pretty old but can still hold its own. A must watch.

This is a great action/suspense/drama movie. It takes a little while for things to get going but once they do... watch out. Full of intrigue and drama, this one is great for repeat viewings. This is from David Fincher and I am a fan of his work.

This is one of my all time favorites. Lots of twists and turns and the audience, like the characters, don't know what's going to happen next. The whole cast is outstanding and this is a must purchase for your collection.

This movie is a mind-bending journey! If you have never seen it before, you are in for a treat. I recommend hunting down the Criterion Collection version as it has terrific extras and a great commentary track.
