This movie came with a rather interesting group of characters that portray rather interesting and sometimes odd people. The premise of the movie is simple and straight forward. What you don't know are the twists, turns, and strategic actions that evolve into cinema that you must pay attention to or you will lose a grip of the ever changing plot. Guy Ritchie directs another great flick. Whatever you do don't tell anyone too much about this or you will create a major spoiler......a must see and hear to believe.

Even though you've got to pay attention throughout this fast paced movie -that's full of plot twists- it's a blast, and moves quickly. Between the characters that have been created by some of the most amazing actors (all while using the most interesting accents), namely: Matthew McConaughey, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth and Charlie Hunnam, "The Gentlemen" will have you on the edge of your seat. It's fun, engaging, and one of the best to come from director Guy Ritchie. Guaranteed you'll be talking about this movie long after you've seen it, and, you'll want to watch it again just to catch all the things you might have missed the first time around... And the 2nd time too.

If you're an admirer of the writer/director Guy Ritchie, you already know of his previous works beginning with Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, his next work Snatch, and Rock N Rolls, considered by many to be modern day classics. Ritchie has the ability to tap into the Crime, Gangster and Heist film genres. He then tosses in comedy, plot twists and his own clever use of dialogue, truly creating his own brand of filmmaking. In my opinion, this film brings Ritchie back to his roots. The picture and sound are much superior when comparing it to the Blu-ray.

I’ve loved Guy Ritchie since Lock, Stock, & 2 Smoking Barrels, and still feel that Snatch was the epitome of excellence in his special way of story telling and character building. That being said, I feel the Gentleman is a very close second, IMO, and would recommend to anyone who appreciates Guy’s “worlds” that he weaves for our entertainment!

Guy Ritchie is the "master" at making an intricate, multi-level gangster movie, mixed with his style of humor, and violence. Just in case your movie I.Q. is not up to snuff, he carefully, yet masterfully explains the story - throughout the movie. In my opinion, The Gentlemen joins my all time favorite Ritchie films Snatch, followed by RocknRolla, as one of the 3 best films that the genre has to offer. I've watched the movie the customary 3 times to take everything in. Really good movie!

Man, Ive seen quite a few Guy Ritchie flicks that I love; this one goes top 3 for sure. Gives strong “Snatch” vibes. McConaughey gave an oustanding performance as usual. Colin Ferrell stole the show for me. Just an all around great film. Bravo young chap, you did it again!

Definitely not a movie to watch with kids around they do use the word climb a lot but it's funny there is racist jokes again it's funny if you don't have a good humor side to you don't watch it if you get offended easily don't watch it but if you're open-minded you have a great date night with this movie

Digital NOT compatible w/ VUDU or MoviesAnywhere

Love the movie. So much so, I bought the Blu Ray/DVD/Digital Combo disc from Best Buy. The Digital Code ONLY works with iTunes. It DOES NOT work w/ VUDU or MoviesAnywhere. I talked to support for both and they do not support STX films. This is rather unfortunate for those of us that watch digital only thru these services. Of the 400+ digital movies I've redeemed, this is the first time this has happened. After not getting VUDU or MoviesAnywhere to honor the code, I have initiated a return w/ Best Buy.

The storyline is accompanied by a very tricky but interesting sound-track that perfectly fits each scene. And the mode of the story-telling is also a bit tricky – the English are at it again but we will see how it turns out. As it turns out, this film is a winner – great acting, costumes are simply amazing, and Guy Ritchie’s imagination ran completely wild directing this surprisingly entertaining movie. Great View!

Great movie! Guy Ritchie at his best with this witty, fast pace, hilarious mobster style comedy. The movie looks amazing and it is incredibly entertaining! Only downside is the digital code is only available on iTunes. If you have an AppleID, then you can watch it on AppleTV. Besides that issue, totally recommend it!

Such an awesome film by Guy Ritchie with such an exceptional cast! Another crime/comedy film that holds no bounds with Matthew McConaughey leading a bunch of terrific actors in the queue: Charlie Hunnam, Henry Goulding, and Hugh Grant! Shocked how HG looks in this film but he does not disappoint with the humor while CH per usual oozes with hustler swag and also funny as well! So happy I purchased this in DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital!

I gotta be honest I wasn't so sure about this one at first. I heard good reviews from critics but that never persuaded my decision in the past. First of all let's talk about the cast an director. Guy Richie has his style on it but also has a little more. A great mob movie or suspense. Keeps you guessing until the end. Thr ensemble cast nails every role. I highly recommend this to any movie goer

Excellent movie, kept you thinking and paying close attention to the action. Looking forward to watching the movie again, as there are parts I wasn't clear on. This is a movie that if you are not paying attention, you will miss the entire plot of the movie. Good action and film work. Would highly recommend this movie.

I really liked this movie. It started out with a plot twist and an end that I didn't see coming. Plus Matthew McConaughey is easy on the eye! Hugh Grant was a blast in his role and you could tell that he had a lot of fun playing it. The only drawback to this movie is that the digital copy only plays on Apple enabled devices and unfortunately my TV is not.

When it comes to Guy Ritchie, I'm a love it or absolutely hate it kind of person. This movie is so incredibly good from start to finish that I've recommended it to anyone who would listen. The way that it backtracks to put the story together never misses a beat or becomes too confusing to follow. And the acting, oh the acting - so spot on for everyone!

Another movie in the genre of Snatch, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, due to the same director, but with the wittiness of adding Pulp Fiction. Language is constant throughout the film but great dialogue, witty and has a few twists. Nice wardrobe, and the acting is through the roof. Adults recommended not for kids.

Loved the movie, bought this on sale and I am happy with it. Came with a slip cover. Picked up at the store. However, the digital code is only for iTunes and if you're not an apple user, it is not the easiest to access this digital copy.

An amazing film I love the character’s style and the story in interesting to stay entertained and wanting more. The film has decent cinematography which is good but at times has cheap looking edits through the cutting of certain scenes. But regardless a good film to watch on a Saturday night. Definitely recommend!
