A hilarious Don Knotts film that should not be missed. Very nice picture and sound quality. A great and funny Halloween family adventure, there's no obscenities or gore like most films popular this Halloween season. When the little ones are up you can enjoy this with them, then watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre after they've gone to bed. There was a sticker on the box that said this Blu-Ray is a Best Buy exclusive, so you better get it while it's still available.

Lightning fast delivery and packed safely. Great price. Definitely a timeless classic. Re-done in Blu-ray version has excellent qualities especially the rich deep sound & vivid & bright colors. Universal and Best Buy have partnered together again to release a collection of exclusive library titles, this time on Blu-ray. From what I can tell, this collection includes three titles - The Ghost And Mr. Chicken, It Came From Outer Space, and October Sky. The Ghost And Mr. Chicken is a beloved Don Knotts vehicle that carries over a lot of the charm that made the Andy Griffith Show so special. As for the Blu-ray quality, it has good color but lacks fine detail. There are no special features.

The delivery date was almost a week earlier then what the estimated date was, which was awesome! The blue ray box itself was very well packaged and was in excellent condition. The blue ray disc was also in excellent condition, there were no issues when me and my family watch it! Again awesome movie and very satisfied from ordering to receiving it! 5 STARS, Keep up the great work!

This is a great classic comedy/thriller from the mid-sixties. Don Knotts first movie after leaving The Andy Griffith Show. Almost like a continuation of his Barney Fife role, with a few character actors from TAGS. Blu-Ray makes it seem better than when I watched it new in the downtown theater. Easy and fun to watch again and again.

I was thrilled to get The Ghost and Mr. Chicken in blu ray. I have always loved the movie and haven't seen it in years and I was looking forward to seeing it again. I pre-ordered it but due to circumstances, I finally was just now able to watch it. The colors popped and the film looked clean and crisp. I was a happy camper watching it.

I am hoping they release all his movies. This is one of his best, if not the best(?) His comedic timing is perfect and his facial expressions imated by many(Jim Carey) but beat by none. Here he is able to give more character detail to his bumbling self than he was able to do in 30 minute sketches in Andy Griffith Show. Recommended.

This little gem has finally got the Blu-ray treatment, and it deserves it!! Don Knott's, probably the funniest man in comedy throughout the 60's really nailed the haunted house comedy with plenty of chills, twists and turns, and of course, comedy. If you like this type of genre, then pick this gem up, you won't be disappointed..

Don Knotts always had a perfect combination of jokes and slapstick, often with a touch of cowardice and clumsiness. The Ghost and Mr. Chicken was a great movie for him to shine his comedic talents. The restoration on blu ray looks and sounds great and the price is perfect for a classic catalog title.

If you've seen this film then you KNOW how fun it is. If you HAVEN'T, then pick it up for some great, hilarious, old-fashioned fun via the legendary comic, Don Knotts! You'll laugh your socks off at this "they don't make them like they used to" comedy! "Attaboy, Luther!"

I love this movie for Halloween. My mom and I have to watch it every year for tradition. It is so funny. I do recommend watching this and adding to Halloween traditions. You don't always have to be scary for Halloween. A good funny mystery sometimes is just what is needed

I saw this movie years ago and enjoyed it. I am so glad that it is on blu-ray and restored. This is Great entertainment for the whole family, a must buy to add to your collection. Enjoy your family night with Don Knotts

One of my favorite comedies,Don Knotts is great as timid worker for newspaper who wants to be a reporter and gets the chance by spending the night in a haunted house on the 20th anniversary of a murder/suicide. The quality of the disc is great and the price is right!

This movie is such a classic that it works at any age. I watch this movie years ago and loved it couldn't stop laughing. I recommended it to my own kids years later and it has become our family Halloween tradition. Still hilarious it's Don Knotts at his best!

I love Don Knotts. He is at his best here. He is a one of a kind. If you want a light hearted comedy. This is it. The man is funny on Andy G. or on his own. Not a waste of money if you like comedy. You can't go wrong with Don Knotts.

this is a classic movie that I saw when I was a kid and now I have a chance to shear this timeless classic with a new generation I would recommend this movie to any family wanting to spend time together watching a good movie.

I first saw this film when I was a kid, and haven't seen it in at least 20 years, and I must say, it still holds up! So well done and still funny as ever. Don Knotts is perfect in this role, and Vic Mizzy's music is fantastic!

If you like a little scary and a lot funny this movie is for you. Its a classic with Don Knotts - I actually saw this movie as a little cameo in the Jim Carrey film "Yes Man." A great family film.

I knew I was in for a treat when I saw Don Knotts in the first scene, and I wasn't disappointed. This is a breathe a fresh air from the cookie cutter comedies we see today.

I Have Always Loved This Movie But Only Had It On Video, So To Find It On Blu-Ray Was Great. Everybody In My Household Loves This Movie, And Whats Better Is It's Family Friendly.
