I loved the first Godfather Film, I believe it to be perfect in every way, and this one doesn't fall behind. This film is both a sequel and a prequel, with two different stories (Michael's and Vito's), with excellent performances by Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. You are able to contrast both stories and find how family and power differs in both generations: how one individual built an amazing empire, and how his son eventually tampers it while trying to secure it. Can't stress how much I loved this one.

A movie classic with a terrific performance by Al Pacino. Realistic portrayal of prohibition years and organized crime. We still have organized crime today....just operates differently.

Good quality disc. Al Pacino never disappoints. Loved “leave the gun, take the cannolis” everytime!

Bought this in the bluray format along with the first Godfather movie. Totally awesome.

The cast alone with Robert DeNiro As the young don Fantastic movie

Considering The Godfather II has a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it's no surprise this sequel is as amazing as it is. The film picks up after Michael Corleone's success as the heir to the Corleone dynasty. It's twisting to see the huge transition from kind, patriotic Marine to unforgiving, violent don. The storyline arc to Don Vito Corleone's upbringing and rise in New York City is very well portrayed by Robert De Niro. Both actors deserve the praise and accolades for their performances.

Its a good movie one of the best sequels made ever

Excellent sequel to the original Godfather. Rare for a sequel to match or surpass the original movie but in the case of the Godfather Part II, the strong acting of Al Pacino and an outstanding script delivers.

I love the godfather set but to me part 2 is the best i love how Frances ford coppla mastered 2 stories in the movie with the prequel set at the beginning and the story of micheal consolidating his power if u love gangster and mob movies no other touches the godfather trilogy

This film is one of the few where the sequel is as good if not better than the original. The talent of the cast, both returning actors and new, is just as strong as the original. Seeing Vito's transformation into the Godfather is truly a masterpiece of filmmaking.

This 2017 edition by Coppola is superb, includes extra scenes and is digitally remastered. I purchased the 2017 Editions of The Godfather, Godfather Parts II and III, and we had a mini-party to watch them. II is better than at the movies!!!

One of the best sequels ever made. Broad in scope and yet squarely focused on the rise of the ole Don and the fall of the new Don...just incredible. Picture and sound look great!

Is the Godfather II better than the original Godfather? I still give the edge to the original, although there are many who will say otherwise. Regardless of which side you take in the debate, the fact that there's even a debate speaks to just how amazing this movie is.

Francis Ford Coppola and his famous attempt at a hat trick. Nothing short of spectacular. The first two movies being two of the greatest movies of all time, do nothing but demonstrate expert storytelling through film. Part II is a memorable classic.

Arguably the best in the series, and my personal favorite. I believe it's the first movie that Pacino and DeNiro were in together, although they share no screen time. Superb acting, and great story-telling. Francis knew how to make a great movie.

Great follow-up to the original "The Godfather" fil. Both are classics from start to finish.

For the 3rd greatest film of all time, this Blu-ray delivers the beautiful cinematography and crisp audio that I’d expect. I found no problems with it. A+
