I’ve waited for years for a good Blu-ray release of this movie. They probably could’ve really topped this off with some new interviews. All the featured behind the scenes and interviews were from the 1980’s, but much better than nothing. The movie itself is a classic for me and a must have for any Eddie Murphy fan.

Great comedy. I loved this film growing up. Eddie Murphy could do no wrong in the 1980s. Murphy plays Chandler Jarrell, whose job is to find missing children. He is roped into searching for the Golden Child, whose destiny is to save the world. The movie has comedy, romance and horror. Worth checking out

I saw a discussion on Facebook about this movie two months ago. The Golden Child. It is an old movie but I had never seen it before. The comments sparked my interest therefore, I purchased it. I watched it this past Sunday and I loved it. It is a lovely family movie. I will watch it again soon.

A very nice presentation of a pretty good film. I hadn't seen The Golden Child since I was a kid. It wasn't well received upon its release, but I liked it at the time. The film was perhaps overly ambitious and not everything was well-executed, but for it's time and budget, it is an enjoyable film. Nice to see it being well-respected with this release.

Seen this movie long time ago and I thought it was good, purchased it because it looked nice w a fold out slip cover and the new 4K scan ... it turned out to be really good purchase.

Classic movie paramount released a few of these older titles and their slipcover is unique

Very funny movie with Eddie Murphy. Hidden Gem from the 80's

A rather good concept for a movie. But, the movie is ruined by Eddie Murphy's cursing and other bad mouthing.

Very Fun Film! Have always enjoyed this film. Really like the Blu Ray release.

The outside case if gorgeous with a folding slipcase that turns into the original movie poster. Transfer quality is phenomenal
