I grabbed this BD off of the sale rack. I remember watching this 30+ years ago on the big screen. The story never gets old and the actors are top-notch.

Bein' is as (Arkie lingo) I'm well over 60 I remember this movie starring Steve McQueen vividly. Well worth your time and this movie was a bargain at Best Buy.

One of the best movies ever made. Entertaining as well as being an important snapshot of the history of that time. Holds up even after all these years.

This movie is stacked with famous English and American actors. And it is a sad but great story of adversity.

I really like this movie. It has a great cast and plenty of drama and action. The interactions between the POWs and the camp personnel seem hokey and even ridiculous at times. Still more realistic than "Hogans Heroes" but could have been better. Subtract one star for these reasons.

Excellent movie, based on a true story. The acting is superb, with a cast of the best ever! Too bad most of the men in the movie are dead. They can't be replaced.

The Great Escape is obviously a classic and a must-see for all movie fans, but the Blu-ray leaves a bit to be desired. It doesn't come with many extras and the Blu-ray case is very flimsy and easily dinged (if you care about such a thing, like I do.) Still, for the price, it's still worth getting.

I love The Great Escape! The plot is interesting and the acting is good. Because it is filled with so much action it keeps you on the edge of your seat.
