My son and I enjoyed this movie because it was not super scary and had a good moral to it. This was a new twist on why China build the great wall. Stoy of finding purpose in life and a great reason to do the right thing

I've always enjoyed Matt Damon films, and this one doesn't disappoint. There's humor, great CGI effects, and scenery. The plot is okay but the character acting is better than average.

Overall a decent, not great, movie with good special effects, and very colorful costumes that brighten up the movie, so visually its pretty good which is why I bought it, and because it was selling at a good price.

In my opinion,Matt Damon delivered on this action movie,well made, plot was easy to follow,cast worked well together and was enjoyable from beginning to end.Pleased this is in my collection and is a go to movie when I want entertainment for awhile,like I have a digital copy too so I can watch it anywhere.

Set your expectation right, then this movie won't be so bad. I've read about the negative reviews. it is a fiction flick, so keep that in mind. Other than that, good CG work and with Matt in it, it is worth a watch.

This movie has a great story and the special effects are super. The story is very good and the acting is brilliant. The actors are engaging and keep you engaged. The movie is a must have for those who like action fantasy, I would highly recommend this movie.

Faced with a blind purchase I decided to save myself a few dollars, so I bought the blu-ray. after seeing it I admit that it is not the best movie, but the images and the audio deserve a 4k version.

We got this movie thinking it would be hilariously bad. But surprisingly we loved it. It was full of action and suspence. My wife jumped a bunch! It had some good humor. And if you are into video games like final fantasy you will love it. It really had a manga mixed with medieval times feel to it.

Amazing movie. They could have cast unknown actors and it still would be awesome because it is the visuals and action scenes that make this movie the surprise of the year. A shame it performed so poorly at the box office, but pick this up if you want an easily watchable and spectacular action movie.

Visually spectacular in regards to the color, contrast and presentation. The sound quality of the audio mix is truly reference level and I'm sure this movie will be utilized in many a home theater to show off :).

When my husband first asked me to watch this movie with him I thought "Um, no. It just looks weird." It turned out to be pretty good. It had an original plot line with some twists and turns I didn't expect.

I seen this movie at the theater, & so I bought for my kids at work to check out! The process of buying it at Best Buy was great overall, with so much ease! Excellent movie & a different take on the Great Wall.

It's a Good Friday Night movie. Pretty well done, but a little over the top... with a few shooters of Patron and some friends it is entertainment for the night.

If you're familiar with Zhang Yimou's other films, you know what to expect. You will not be disappointed. Entertaining special FX extravaganza. Pure escapism. The creatures are apparently based on real Chinese folklore. Not as martial arts laden as his previous films, but that's not a bad thing.

It was entertaining. The story worked well. The acting was great. And the effects were really impressive. I watched it on a big screen in Bangkok and enjoyed the experience. The sound was equally impressive.

Not his best. but pure silly fun and lots of CGI. Beautiful visuals and choreography. I have difficultly seen Damon in this role but it got me to buy the movie. I've watched it for the gorgeous colors.

This is a solid action movie that involves monsters. this is not a historical movie. It is well photographed and moves at a quick pace. Good for a Friday night or just a rainy day. Matt Damon is a plus.

I like it a lot. There is great action and a story line like you've never seen before or thought of when you here about the Great Wall. It's a good action packed, keep you're heart pumping movie.

Boy oh boy this was a movie I wasn't sure about but turned out excellent .what's a good action movie, lots of fun characters and a good ending but don't be surprise he did not get the girl at the end

Look its not the most realistic movie in the world but its still a real fun watch. The graphics were great, if you have a nice TV set it looks amazing, the color really pops. Its a fun watch.
