I have always been intrigued by the far east. This movie takes some interesting liberties with history and comes up with a piece based on enough fact though utterly fiction to keep your interest.

Good movie ... remarkable special effects and unique storyline. The price was right and it’s stood the test of time as an action film.

The movie was fun, and entertaining like the mummies. But it was just weirdish and Damon really doesn't do that well like other roles he has nailed.

Watched on new 4k DVD player yesterday. Kids enjoyed the movie, I thought it was just ok. Beautiful pictures and effects. 4k was awesome.

I expected a playful Chinese action and got that and so much more! I was genuinely surprised at how well done and deeper the movie was, I expected just a popcorn movie an got a great ride!

I watched this on Apple TV without knowing what this movie was all about. I never saw the trailer so I was amazed at how good and fun this movie was. Without hesitation, when it got release in Bluray, I imediately bought one. Another addition to my classic movie collection.

I rather liked The Great Wall. The use of colors in the movie makes it very colorful. The sound & visual effects should have you entertained from the start to the end. Keep in mind that this is a sci-fi movie & not a documentary on the Great Wall of China. Check it out.

Great movie for movie night. Fun, entertaining and exciting to watch from start to finish. Good action and fight scene's through out with a good story line to give characters life.

Those well versed in the long and storied history of China, The Great Wall, and Emperor Qin, like myself, will find this a very entertaining movie. As long as you view it as entertainment, and not as some sort of revisionist history, you'll be delighted by the spectical.

This is a movie that I wasn't sure what it was going to entail, but my husband and I both are true fans. Not having any expectations of what to expect, we were both pleasantly surprised.

This is a tough one to explain. It had great cinematic moments and some enjoyable action scenes. It also had some highly unbelievable action scenes and plot holes that often left me scratching my head. For what its worth, Matt Damon acted his part well enough, as did most of the cast. I think the real problem with this movie was the absurdity of the story. I put it at 3 stars, I don't regret seeing it, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, nor outright discourage it either. Its pretty much completely forgettable after you have seen it.

Jeremiah did a great job installing our television-he was knowledgeable and provided all the available options during the install. He was well informed on the product and gave concise instructions on its use as well as making himself available for future questions.

The action was awesome, but the story was okay. It's good to watch, but it's not really a keeper to own in your collection.

I bought this movie as a gift for my daughter because she requested it. She loves it and said it is terrific. I only saw a portion of the movie while at her home and it looked very good.

Picture was outstanding, the movie on the other hand was not very entertaining. Definitely worth 1 watch but probably not worth owning.

This was a good movie the first time I saw it. Wanted to see all the beautiful scenes in 4K. Buying the movie on sale also helped.

I was very cautious about buying this movie, when the previews really made you wonder if it would be anything special...i thought the movie was very good & would watch again & again!

The effects in this movie are smooth realistic which absorbs you into the movie. With breath taking stunts and visual beauty. Wil watch many times more, great pic for my collection.

I wish that there were more battles. I like the special effect. Except for the Jumping Warrior Women. It was entertains. I saw 3 times already. I would recommended it as a rental.

The Great Wall is a visual treat with great fx. The current package included a blue ray disc, a regular dvd, and a digital download for a great Black Friday deal. The movie isn't the greatest, but for the price, it provides a great way to spend an evening.
