Definitely not a movie for the faint of heart, but you shouldn't go into it with the mindset that it's going to be serious either. Definitely a goofier horror movie with some great and highly disturbing gore.

I liked this movie, but I may be a little sick LOL !! It's starts a little slow but the action picks up fast, plane crash in a jungle, cannabals, the act to survive, and a little twist at the end !!

Eli Roth creates another fun and crazy movie with this one. As with all his movies, he lulls you in with character intros, ramps up with suspense, and just when most movies would let you off the hook, it takes off at break-neck speed. Very fun, but very gory, so make sure you're ok with that type of movie. He also is able to inject humor at unexpected moments, but it works! Be sure to check out his other stuff, whether or not this one is for you. It was definitely my cup of tea. Check out bestbuy for Cabin Fever, Hostel I+II, Last Exorcism, Knock Knock

The Green Inferno is not for the faint of heart. It is wonderfully bloody but lacks any real acting. The plot starts off well enough, but eventually devolves into cliché grindhouse. Bad jokes, potty humor and characters that one really never cares too much about. The movie is shot well, showing the beauty of the jungle and it's terrifying cannibal tribe, but the special effects are the star of the film. Fans of graphic gore will love that aspect of the film, while casual viewers will likely just find it gross.

This movie was fun. It has everything we as humans today like. Power, ignorance, stupidity, money, protest, blood, gore, bad guys, good guys...oh and some dirty stuff wink, wink.

As someone who grew up watching Halloween and Friday the 13th, I'm accustomed to horror movies. This was a decent horror/thriller but definitely could've been a lot better

No this is not a christmas movie. It is gory, it is funny, it is predictable (sometimes). But most of all it is shocking and we really enjoyed it. Can you say Sequel ?

The movie look great in Blu-ray format. The plot in my opinion was not good at all. Their were some good Eli Roth gore scenes, but the story just left to many questions.

In typical Roth fashion, its a slow burn. Takes a bit to set up, but once it starts up, there is no slowing down. If you like gore and blood, you will like this movie.

Saw this at the theater. It has to be pretty gnarly to make me squeamish, and this movie had me cringing from some of the deaths. I watched it at home...not so much. Probably because it wasn't right in my face. Still, I like this movie. It's kind of an opposite of Full Metal Jacket, in which, you watch and love the first half of the movie and the last half is meh. This one, the first half is all build up to get to the rainforest and meh. But when they get there it's almost non stop.

I enjoyed this movie; it was something I like watching in compare to a lot of other gorry horror movie. Definitely something to watch when having a movie night!

If you're looking for blood, gore and guts, here it is. This wasn't a necessarily a scary movie in the sense that you "jumped", but it was scary in the sense that this movie left you feeling very vulnerable - as if someone could take you and do anything they wanted to you - like eat you. This was definitely a gross, disgusting, yet terrifying, and one of the best horror flicks I've seen to date. If you love horror movies, this one should be in your collection!

Normally I don't view schlock, splatterfests such as this movie "Green Inferno"(director Eli Roth's nod/injoke to the original "found footage" innovator, 1980's "Cannibal Holocaust") but I was curious to check it out if solely to view Roth's red hot spouse, actress Lorenza Izzo, in action! She does her best, considering the material involved, but still I find the film lacking in sublety. Gore fans should not be disappointed w/FX & makeup!

Having like Eli Roth's other movies I decided to check this one out too. It lived up to my expectations of being a rough movie with veiled social commentary.

If you're into horror movies or anything Eli Roth related, buy this movie. One of the best movies in a long time.

Eli Roth is up to his usual shock and awe antics is this horror/comedy. It is a good young cast in a niche genre flick that make it a must see movie.

As many other horror film addicts, i waited a long time to see this movie. Unfortunately is not exactly the best work from director Eli Roth, who gave really great expectations using a title as "Green Inferno" (taken from "Cannibal Holocaust" which seems to get a little tribute). Story gets stuck in the second third of the movie and the gory horror we see at the middle, doesn't continue, letting us waiting for something more.

The movie is not as good as Cannibal Holocaust, one of the movies it was based off of. It is a worthy addition in my horror movie collection though.

I liked the movie, even though it took a while to get going. Only downside is I expected way more gore, especially in a so-called "director's cut."

makes you think about going to other countries to help out. Makes you think about where you're going if you plan on doing that kind of work.
