Wanted this for a while, finally looked it up and got it.

I would say this version of the haunting is fun in the guilty pleasure sense…it’s not perfect…but it’s a film with great special effects.

I remember this movie scared me as a kid. Not so much anymore, still a fair movie.

This was a good movie, my wife and I liked it! I gave it 4 stars because of the special effects and the great cast. Otherwise I would have given it 2 or 3 stars. It wasn't very scary, but had some cool scenes. The ending was weak, and there were several major movie flaws. I'm not trying to be picky, in fact, in most of my reviews I won't mention 1 or 2 flaws, I know they happen. But, this movie had some big obvious flaws. Other than that, it was fun to watch, I recommend it! If you want a real good scare, I highly recommend The Haunting in Connecticut, Amityville Horror (new version), Mirrors, 1408, and The Uninvited!

this movie has truly evil spector that wants you to stay so it can grinde your sreams into something so terifying where you can,t stay and your driven to watch with one eye closed.

The DVD is unfortunately basically unwatchable due to how dark the film is everything just ens up looking bad if using a modern TV. The movie itself isn't good enough to make up for how bad it ends up looking nice idea, so so execution, terrible release. I realize DVDs will never look as good as blu rays due to space limitations but this was still a bummer.
