I own a lot of movies.I bought this tittle without initially seeing it first.It was recommended by a friend.Sometimes I will trade a DVD in after watching the movie and the extras about 60% of the time.I was on the fence on whether I was keeping this one until I finished watching all the extras.After done viewing ALL the bonus material,this tittle has a home in my library.

It is awesome to see Sandra Bullock in this roll as a prissy female dominant FBI officer. It is awesome to see her interact with her police officer counterpart to solve the case. McCarthy is a fun, but crude character. It is great to see the two similar personality types with two opposite techniques come together with some twists. Each learns from the other. A very enjoyable duo!

I had really high hopes for this movie. I am a big fan of Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. This was missing "something". I can quite put my finger on it, but I was a little disappointed. The plot seemed a little light for stars of this caliber. It's funny, don't get me wrong, but not like previous movies for either star. Worth the watch, but Red Box it instead of buying.

Outstanding acting. Bullock does a great job of playing the part of the intellectual FBI agent and straight "person" for McCarthy's - bring tears to your eyes- comedy. Nice cameo by Bill Burr. Good story line, well acted, great chemistry with the leads. Tremendous lack of PC, which is long overdue and hilariously done.

So the plot may not be Oscar-worthy, and it won't make you think, but this is one of the funniest flicks I've seen in a long time. I'll admit I'm a fan of both Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock. (If you liked Miss Congeniality, Sandra basically rehashes that character here.) This isn't a movie for kids as there are more f-bombs than you can count. It's just FUNNY!!!

The cop-buddy genre has always been great for a combination of action and comedy, and The Heat fits right in. The action scenes and comedic elements were great and Melissa McCarthy's renown slapstick was of course present. I would recommend The Heat for anyone who likes the action-comedy genre, especially for those who like the buddy-cop movies.

This was the funniest movie I've seen in many years. There were so many big laughs that I'll have to see this again just to hear the lines I missed, because the audience was laughing so hard. I'd highly recommend this movie for adults who want to laugh a lot, and who like action and suspense movies. It's a movie I'd enjoy owning.

This movie had me laughing so hard! The only thin I didnt like were the cussing in it. I don't know women cussing like sailors, just don't mix for me but anyways still a very good movie! The only part I missed being in the movie was shown in the commercials and they cut out of the movie! That was the part I wanted to see the most! But it was in the extras.

While not much in terms of anything new the comedy and acting were really good. I look back at buddy Cop movies from my generation like Beverly Hills Cop or even Rush Hour and I think this brings something different but not much. Still a great movie even with it's shortcomings of not offering anything new to the genre.

Great movie needed the laughs and love both the actress in the movie. Arrived early and was happy with that, well packaged. This is the 2nd movie I have ordered from Best Buy and both were delivered on time or early and packaged nicely.

Ok so the plot is basically a rerun of almost every other cop movie you have seen. Bad drug dealer, partners who don't like each other, but none of that matters. Melissa McCarthy is side splitting funny and steals every scene. Plus it was refreshing to see Sandra bullock in a comedic role--she is the perfect complement to McCarthy.

This movie is a showcase for the two stars, Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. They have great chemistry together, it really shows in the scene where they get drunk in a bar. The plot is nothing to write home about, it is just an excuse to let the lead actresses do their thing. Warning: it is rather vulgar, the R rating is well deserved.

I saw this movie in theaters and thoroughly enjoyed it. It reminds me a lot of Rush Hour, with one of the two main characters being a local cop, and the other being an FBI agent. Both are very different, and the first part of the movie is hilarious, as they meet each other, despise each other, yet have to find a way to get along.

I found this movie quite entertaining. I received this movie as a gift and at first I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it. To my surprise I found myself laughing and having a good time. Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock do not disappoint, they make a funny comedic duo.

There were no surprises with the two main characters as they were similar to other characters the actresses have each played. Even still, there were a lot of really funny lines and situations. It was a good laugh for sure.

I had heard this was a great movie, so when I walked into my Best Buy and saw it at an awesome price, I grabbed it. It is a great movie! I miss the old Best Buy formatted stores, but when I do go in, they usually have great deals. Also, the cashier was friendly and smiling then entire transaction.

This duo worked very well in this film. The movie is hilarious. So funny. Good comeback for Sandra, al her movies have been great. Except that movie where she's a blond and wears red boots and the main actor is Bradley Cooper. Overall Sandra and Melissa were awesome. Must have in you comedy collection. :)

This is a well done, if formulaic, "buddy cop" film presented from the distaff side. Sandra Bullock is hilarious as she turns in a stellar performance. A warning to those with sensitive ears or younger audience members: The use of the "F" word is rampant throughout and, in my opinion, excessive to the plot.

I really had no desire to see this but consented because my wife wanted to watch it. I was very pleasantly surprised. The movie is pretty consistently funny throughout and neither of the leads were as annoying as I usually find them. I liked it enough that I definitely didn't mind buying it for her.
