No one can have the Lord of the Rings Collection without having this collection. This will complete the full series of the battles in Middle Earth. The box with the three movie discs in their own movie case helps keep the collections organized and secure.

I am glad I waited for the extended edition! It's files in the theatrical version as I could tell that the movie was disjointed and after watch this version you could tell that this is the version you needed.

A movie about a Hobbit and some Dwarves. Not quite the same as the book. The Lord of the Rings was so good, and this is another trip back to Middle Earth. But with all the changes made to the story, it’s not as good as I thought it would be story wise. Incredible effects and fight scenes, it’s worth a watch, but don’t expect as deep of a story as the Rings trilogy.

This is a great trilogy to own, while drawn out and not equal to the Lord of the rings, each movie got better and better. In spite of some faults it's great visuals, action and effects plus the story itself make this well worth any Lord of the Rings fan's time and money to purchase!

The additional footage filled in many questions about the movie trilogy. Worth watching. Glad I added it to my collection.

If your're a fan of these movies/stories, you'll love this set. All 3 movies are extended versions and the picture/audio is great. The extras are nice as well. Highly recommend if you're a Tolkien fan.

Fabulous movie, I mean, what's not to like? It grabs you immediately, sets you up for an adventure with overall excellent technology and acting--story is superb, excellent writing, directing and performing. It doesn't disappoint! Great entertainment this!

The movies speak for themselves. there's no need to review them here, so I'll concentrate on the extras heaped into the set. They are well-chosen, well-produced and a welcome addition to the fuller understanding Tolkien and of Jackson's vision of his work. Highly recommended

This is the best deal you will find for The Hobbit trilogy on blue ray. The picture is awesome and the special features provide hours more entertainment. I would definitely recommend this to any and all.

One of the Best Movies Ever, an was such a great buy... I could not wait to get it home to see all the extra scenes, I was completely In Love!!!!!!! Of coarse it is much longer in time but I truly feel its worth it, so pull up a blanket an Enjoy... Don't forget the snacks!!

Watching this trilogy is a great way to get your Lord of the Rings fix. It gives all the background you need, right up to the point where that Gandalf shows up at Bilbo's house in the first movie. Love it!

One of my all-time favorite movie trilogies. I'd recommend buying this three-disc set, if you can't find the larger set that includes the Hobbit and LOTR. These three movies are simply amazing and tell a great prequel tale to the LOTR. (Bookreaders beware, I guess.)

It is very interesting to see how they made each hobbit movie, it is hours of entertaining information. You really get to know the actors and what they went through to make each of the three movies. If you area Hobbit fan you will love this extended version package.

Great quarantine LOTR binge watching! Fantastic epic fantasy that can be watched before or after the LOTR trilogy. Plus there were no formatting/video/audio issues when watching it on both ps3 and xbox.

I really like the Hobbit movies. The characters are great, and the story is captivating. Even better yet to get these on Blu Ray. Until a 4k release this will be the best way to experience and appreciate the cinematography of the film trilogy.

I love The Hobbit! I grew up reading the books. I own the extended edition collection of The Lord of the Rings, so this was a no brainer. The high-def quality is amazing and the behind-the-scenes documentary is vey interesting. Great item to own if you are a fan.

I can't wait to purchase more movies from Best Buy. They've got great deals. It would be nice to have a larger selection of movies. Reboot browsing in the store.

If you liked Peter Jackson's The Lord Of The Rings triology, then you shouldn't miss this. At first I was skeptical about one book being divided into three full length feature films, but Peter Jackson is an masterful story teller and the movies flow very well.

What more is there to say? If you're a LOTR fan this set is for you. All the extended movies plus a TON of extras and all in blu ray audio and sound quality. I already had the three movies separately, but bought this to have the set. Very nice purchase.

Peter Jackson does it again by going back to the beginning before Lord of the Rings to showcase Bilbo Baggins adventures. A fun filled fantasy epic that has become an instant classic! If you love the Lord of the Rings trilogy then you'll enjoy The Hobbit!!!!
