This Blu-ray is excellent and being a Peter Jackson fan, I was excited about all the extras included. What they did with LOTR was amazing!!!!

A must have for any Middle Earth fan. The more I watch em the more I enjoy em!

This is an awesome trilogy, in many ways even better than the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was a great gift for a teenager.

really enjoy these films, have been looking for the extended trilogy set on blu ray , once i saw it for such a great price i had to buy it

Until I finally read the Hobbit books, I wont truly know how much different or even how much better the book is. That being said, I love these films and the LOTR trilogies. I can watch them over and over again, and really that's what great films are supposed to make you want to do. Also like that the trilogy packaging mirrors that of the LOTR extended trilogy

These movies are excellent. Especially on 4K. The extended versions are the only way to watch them. They look great on 4K.

Peter Jackson has done it again! The extended version will delight all fans of the Lord of the Rings. Plus hours and hours of additional comments and documentaries. Highly recommend!

That’s a lot of Hobbitses. Holy cow is it a lot! I bought this a month ago, turned it on, and I’m only halfway through “Five Armies.” It’s good, but not as good as the LOTR trilogy, I think. Making three movies out of one book may have been...overly ambitious.

I passed on the single releases of the Extended Editions and was waiting for this. I'm very happy to have all three films in their extended form in once collection.

I read the books until they fell apart. The Hobbit 3-disk blue ray edition is a great buy if you love Tokien.

What's not to have if you want all 3 movies together AND extended as well? I haven't seen the extended versions, but I know I'm going to have a long movie-watching night with these

Great movie for family binge watching! We watch it at least once or twice a year around the holidays or bad weather.

This was a gift for my son who has been a fan all his life. He has seen all the movies and read all the books before. He wanted to see the expanded version and really enjoyed it.

If you loved The Hobbit theatrical releases, then you MUST get the extended versions to get the full story!! So much more to the story.

The additional footage really helps bring the books from paper to screen...certain liberties have been taken but a must have for any movie collection

Picked up this edition of the Lord of The Rings. Wow, it was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed binge watching the movies. Only downside is the digital download is locked to UV.
