Got it while it was on sale. Not as nice as the Lord of The Rings set but the movies are great. Wish they would do a 4k remaster

I can honestly say I have always been a Tolkien fan and that this was a great trilogy though they did not follow the book it was still 3 great movies out of the book well done

We bought this video as a Christmas present for our son-in-law and found that Best Buy had the lowest sale price, had the video in stock, and didn't have to pay for shipping!

These are way better than the theatrical releases, extra scenes make the movies flow much better. Worth a buy

I was hoping for more action and more back-story, and the extended edition delivered. I wasn't sure it would be worth the price, but i am glad i picked these up.

These are great movies. With BluRay we get great quality and sound. We don't typically view "extra content" very much, so I can't comment on that aspect of these movies.

These movies were made by one of the best filmmakers. Artfully done and beautifully executed. Extended footage is a great touch and adds to the story.

The Hobbit is a great series of movies. Not quite as good as LotR. But, still very enjoyable. I just wish they hadn't split the last movie in two. I understand why they did it. But, I would rather have had it all in one movie. The extra footage and add-ins are really nice to have. And the BluRay makes it a really great presentation.

What a thrill to once again journey to Middle Earth and into the mind of a great filmmaker who as usual is extremely generous with all the behind the scene extras!

I highly recommend these movies and especially with the extended scenes it adds maybe 30 extra minutes to each movie

While the originals are great movies by themselves having the extended editions with all the director imagined for the movies makes it a great purchase for Hobbit fans.
