The additional footage really helps bring the books from paper to screen...certain liberties have been taken but a must have for any movie collection

I was running low on ideas for Christmas gifts abc just so happens the Hobbit was a home run of a Christmas gift.

This was a gift for my son who has been a fan all his life. He has seen all the movies and read all the books before. He wanted to see the expanded version and really enjoyed it.

Bought this as a gift. The recipients are most pleased. They are of great quality both video and audio.

Picked up this edition of the Lord of The Rings. Wow, it was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed binge watching the movies. Only downside is the digital download is locked to UV.

Great trilogy for kids and family to watch. The best way to start the Lord if the rings is to watch the Hobbit trilogy first!

The Hobbit Trilogy played well on our Blu-ray player. It was true to the original.

I can honestly say I have always been a Tolkien fan and that this was a great trilogy though they did not follow the book it was still 3 great movies out of the book well done

This three movie extended set is perfect for those who love the world of JRR Tolkien and want to spend a little more time there.

I highly recommend these movies and especially with the extended scenes it adds maybe 30 extra minutes to each movie

Peter Jackson really shows his love of Tolkien with this great set! I got this set to replace the DVD set I lost over a year ago. It is a great trilogy!

These movies were made by one of the best filmmakers. Artfully done and beautifully executed. Extended footage is a great touch and adds to the story.
