    The House of the Dead is a remake of a game that originally appeared on the Sega Saturn in the '90's. It's an on-rails shooter that used to be played using a lightgun. The Switch is the best platform for this game because it allows you to use the Joycon controllers the same way you'd use a lightgun in the past. It's not perfect, not as precise, but it's the best option we have on this generation of consoles.

    Having more arcade games comes to switch is always a fun time with friends. Unfortunately, the controls are nowhere near as good as the Wii controllers. There is so many options to correct the issue, but never truly feels accurate. Yet, the game is a fun remake of the popular zombie game from the past. I still recommend for fans of the series.

    It's a good remake, with some questionable changes made. Some bosses go on longer than they used to, the ending is removed in favor of scrolling credits, and a completely new soundtrack replaces the iconic original. The soundtrack is ok but not memorable at all. Still good, but I wish they would have been truer to the original.

    Reminded me of back when i would play House of the Dead 3 on the original Xbox with my cousin even tho this is a remake of the original house of the dead the spirit is definitely there.

    still getting use to the control scheme but amazing visual upgrade to the cheesy original game from the late 90s/ 2000s unfortunately difficulty skews with control scheme and accuracy of gyroscope in wii motes but i hope to get better as i play more

    A nice surprise revisit of Sega's zombie shooter from the 90's in full HD 60 FPS a wonderful port of The House of the Dead from the Arcade into your home.
