While not my favorite movie in the saga, but it is still good, just not blow my socks off great. Opinions differ on the heroine of Games vs the Divergent series, but I find they both have good presence of humanity and are genuinely enjoyable. The dynamics of the sexes are a grittier version of the Potter series and fits better to the younger adult since not as fictional or unlikely an environment, well kindda, LOL.

Conclusion to the series (I hope). More substance than most sic-fi, and Mockingjay has transcended The Hunger Games tween genre with a real message -- politics, war and PTSD aren't fun & games anymore, whereas The Hunger Games was fun & games. Note to producers: don't ruin it with more sequels. Jennifer Lawrence has grown up, and needs to move on to Oscar worthy parts before she's type cast beyond all recognition.

The fourth film concludes in a decent but less than spectacular way. The Blu Ray is great with good picture, great sound and the crowning jewel of the disk is the special features. Like the previous films, the Blu Ray contains terrific extras; an extensive documentary covering all areas of the production running over 2 hours. The movie was fine, the purchase is welcome, but the fans will be more than pleased.

This final offering in the Hunger Games series has a few twists in the plot that were implied in Mockingjay - Part 1. Found it to be entertaining and held one's focus throughout. If you've seen the other movies, then this is a must see. If you haven't seen them, then by all means do so before viewing this one as it will not make any sense at all for you. Good pace to the story and excellent special effects.

The long waited conclusion of the Hunger Games... Katniss risks everything to take down Snow and bring a new and free Panam. Many sacrifices are made, some that only time can bring healing. We bring back some beloved characters. Jennifer Lawrence's performance is always stunning, bringing her whole heart the role. The only think I hated was the casting of one character at in the last scene. I mean... really!

I didn't read the books prior to watching the series, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, after watching the first two, we found the suspense an drama to be the "on the edge of your seat" kind that you don't really see anymore. We held off watching part 1 until part 2 was released. For us it made all the difference. This is a must see series, that guarantees not to disappoint.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is fueled with action pack sequences, intriguing drama and superb acting! What a way to end this epic Internationally loved saga! Jennifer Lawerence as Catnis Everdeen is truly amazing; honestly this girls on fire! It's a must own film for anyone with love for the franchise; and what a delicious way to say goodbye to our favorite characters!

My family and I have read the books and seen the full movie series. Though it would have been nice to have three movies like the three books, but the final was worth it. As with most book to screen transitions things were changed but the overall story and its impact remain. My whole family enjoyed all the movies but felt the conclusion was the best and did the series justice.

For fans of the series who wish to own the complete set of movies, this DVD is of course a must-have. And with the way the previous movie in the series ended, this final installment is essential for the necessary closure. Yes, the story is a familiar one, but watching such movies is a way to take a brief break from reality and work. And who doesn't need the occasional break?

I needed to finish my Hunger Games Series collection. I decided to go with the blu-ray/dvd/digital version. I ordered it online and went to the store to pick it up. Store pick up wasn't quick - someone in a big hurry went to the store pickup line to check out. Digital copy was due to expire in a few months, and I'm glad I purchased when I did. Disks worked great.

The exciting finale to the Hunger Games saga pits Katniss and the freedom fighters against President Snow and the Capitol. But is the leader of the resistance, Alma Coin any better than Snow himself? Losses are heavy and the battle for the Capitol is practically like being in the arena for another round of "the Games." Terrific finish, enjoyed the extras, very satisfying.

Great Pricepoint and delivery options from Bestbuy as usual. The movie was outstanding & had some unexpected twists as well! Visually stunning on 4K-HDTV, and mastered in Dolby ATMOS made for rich immersing surround sound. (Even on just a sound bar with wireless floor subwoofer!) I gave been a fan of this franchise from the first film to the last. It was a great ride!

Mockingjay part II concludes the Hunger Games trilogy with a bang. Big screen cinematography at its finest puts you in the heart of the struggle for a free Panem. Aside from some minor deviations, the story basically follows the books and does justice to what was a rocky conclusion in the novels. If you enjoyed the rest of these movies, this film should not disappoint.

I read the book first. The film was basically true to the book. Some of the support characters were not well developed due to the time constraints, but in general it followed the book's lines and hit all of the high points. Great pace, solid acting. Will not stand alone. I don't think this would be enjoyable without the basis of at least the first Mockingjay flick.

Really good conclusion to an amazing series! Having read all the books. I must say they did a good job following them with only a few slight variations. It was kind of nice to see that they gave Philip Seymour Hoffman's character a bigger part in the movies than he had in the books as kind of a tribute to his memory. Ha... "tribute" ...See what I did there? :)

In this final chapter, many questions are afoot. Will Katniss be able to save Peeta from the madness the capitol induced upon him? Will Katniss and the rebellion be able to invade the capitol? Will President's Snow reign of terror come to an end? Watch this action packed movie to see how the entire series comes full circle for a magnificent finale.

I love getting the steelbooks because they add to my movie collection. It's beautiful to look at and it protects the DVDs very well compared to cardboard. This one is especially nice for the cover. I only buy blu rays with digital HD copies and this one has it. I highly recommend getting it since its exclusive to Best Buy and you can't get it anywhere else.

Like the other 3 movies in this series, this one keeps you riveted to your seat. If you've not yet read the book, it has some twists and turns maintaining the intrigue. If you've read the book, the CGI is spectacularly real, bringing the events to the screen as if they were totally real. Seamless. Two thumbs up. If I had 3 thumbs, I'd give it 3 thumbs up!

Got this as an awesome Best Buy Deal of the Day. If you haven't seen the movies, I can't recommend them enough! I loved the books, but also loved the movies. I really loved the ending! I got this for my mom, because she has watched these movies over and over!

I enjoyed the Hunger Games series where Mockingjay 2 is the last installment. The best feature of this series is the amazing cast that brought to life the otherwise two dimensional characters. This final Installment expertly wraps up the conclusion for the struggle of Panam with high quality graphics and mind blowing costumes. Absolutely entertaining!
