That summary may be as accurate a portrayal as I can give this good solid genre film from director Rob Cohen and starring Maggie Grace. I thought this was a good little action/caper film set against the backdrop of a the worst Hurricane to hit Alabama. Good practical and CGI effects, solid cast and good direction make this a fun way to spend 100 minutes or so with some popcorn.

I expected a Low-Budget action movie (B-movie in short), in the likes of Dolph Lundgren, Steven Seagal, and Van Damme but it was a surprisingly better one. I can not call it a B-movie, it is somehow in-between a B-movie and the big-budget action movies of Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. It does not have story development or planning of those big action movies but it is original, funny, and has a really good Hurricane (best part of the movie). Go, forget the world, grab something to eat, sit, and enjoy. you will not watch it 2nd time but for a one-time watch, heck yeah :)

my recommendation with this movie are good special effects and great sound is everything.

Hurricane heist was better than I anticipated. Not such a bad movie . Definitely need to watch at least once .

I think that "The Hurricane Heist" was one of the greatest action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite action films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and immediately enjoyed it. I also think that "The Hurricane Heist" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including an original and exciting storyline.

this is a movie that tries to be like the fast and the furious combined with a bank robbery all during a hurricane. came with digital copy code.

If your looking for an action packed movie from beginning to end then you need to watch this movie. It has surprising twists that will really get your blood pumping.

For a B rated movie , this was actually really good . Some very good visual effects and action sequences . Good story. Should watch .

This is a b movie on purpose the story was ok characters were decent just turn your brain off and enjoy

Not exactly academy award material, but engaging with a great soundtrack, especially if you have a good system to play it on.

Some people may not like it but the premise is fun. A heist during a hurricane. I enjoyed it.

Incredible scenarios! Wow. What can I say! Awesome thrill ride. A, "now what?!" kinda movie. I gotta have the buggy in this one! this thing is built! Get over the young actors now because there are no head liners here, but all in all, great movie. I will definitely watch this one again.

This non-stop thrill ride was actually a decent reprieve from the news and global crisis ongoing. We especially cared that it was about our local area (Gulfport, MS) even though for some reason they stated Gulfport, AL.

This is purely a popcorn movie. The plot is typical Hollywood but for a popcorn movie it wasn't bad.
