The Intern is a movie about a retired gentleman, Robert De Niro, that needs to do something besides being retired. He takes a "senior" intern position with a new startup company headed by Anne Hathaway who is reluctant to take on this new intern. The story revolves around how the two become acquainted, learn to trust and help each other and ultimately a very happy ending.

I needed a CD player that would play my CDs without skipping and I got a bonus with this one. FM radio as well as a MP3 player. The only drawback is the headphones. You absolutely cannot place them on the top of your head. You have to wear/place them on the back of the head for them to fit. I am so glad that I had another pair that fits from the top. This is an Insignia Product.

Starting a new job can be a difficult challenge, especially if you're already retired. Looking to get back into the game, 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker seizes the opportunity to become a senior intern at an online fashion site. Ben soon becomes popular with his younger co-workers, including Jules Ostin, the boss and founder of the company. Whittaker's charm, wisdom and sense of humor help him develop a special bond and growing friendship with Jules.

I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would. I was looking for something that my wife and I could watch over the weekend. The story can be appreciated by the younger and older generations, and present both POVs. Sometimes we get caught up in the every day hustle, we don't stop and take a look around. Understand how others view the world. Enjoyable.

Ann Hathway is the online fashion startup owner, she hires Robert De Niro as a senior intern, he is 70 years old. And the fun begins as the two generations start to collide with their different ways and ideas of doing things. However as they begin to understand each other, they become friends, and find that they can count on each other when needed. It is kind of like the work place today, when a 40 year employee, gets a 27 year old boss.

If you like "feel good" movies, this is a definite "must see". The plot is very straight forward... There's no trying to guess what is going to happen next. I consider it just an all around wonderful movie that gives your brain an opportunity to escape a hectic world for a short time. I'm very glad I purchased it. I know I'll watch it again and again.

When I first watched the movie, It was quite a ride, I didn't expected it to be good. It was a joy to watch, My only take away is the awkward camera cut at the end when they were hugging but then a second later they arent but then a camera cut and he asked a question and then a second later they were hugging again.

This comedy is the personification of an absolutely perfect combination of casting – the chemistry between the characters was genuine and most importantly realistic and believable, inspired directorship and genre. As the story-line progresses it just gets better and its’ end is its’ beginning. A Relaxed and an Enjoyable View.

This is a terrific movie and features some great acting by Deniro and Hathaway. They have excellent chemistry together and the story leaves you feeling good about the characters and the plot. It is nice for a feel good romantic comedy or something to enjoy for a relaxing time. My wife loves it so had to get it.

Even though this film is more geared at the older crowd (other then myself and one other couple, we were the youngest people in the theater.. everyone else was senior citizens), this was still a pretty enjoyable and entertaining movie for everyone. After purchasing the movie I watched it with my dad and he enjoyed it as much as I did.

I loved Robert DeNiro in this movie!! The interaction between him and the other characters truly shows what a great actor he is. I wanted the movie to be longer so I could enjoy his character longer. I saw this movie at a theater and have watched it several times since I purchased it. Even my husband has watched it and liked it.

This movie was pretty good, because it showed Robert De Niro still has it in him. I've always enjoyed his humor as well as Anne Hathaway in Rom-Coms. I didn't necessarily like the ending, but overall it did make me chuckle from time to time. I would recommend this to those who want to know what it's like to find a job at an old age and how hard it can be. Doesn't sound so funny, but hey, it's just a movie.

Robert De Niro is so believable as a calm, capable senior intern to a tech company owner. He gradually guides Ann Hathaway through the problems of a rapidly expanding company. I also like being able to quickly find my favorite blu rays in my local Best Buy.

As a retired guy, I can totally relate. Granted there are many brilliant young people out there but, there's something to say for experience I love the business attitude of the X gen / mellinneals. We could use more of this in our traditional work environments. The movie is brilliant and uplifting. It's a must buy.

This is a great movie that appeals to all ages. Timely subject due to aging population and people working later into life. The theme of this story really resonated as it demonstrated the value that experience and wisdom bring to the job! Employers should capitalize more on what senior workers bring to the equation! Must see!

My wife had started watching this film on a recent trip, the flight was too short and she was not able to see the ending. So I purchased it as a surprise for her. We watched it together and you can clearly see why Robert De Niro is one of the best actors of our time. He can play any part and do a great job of it. We both enjoyed the film and recommend it as a nice couples night film.

Our family enjoyed watching the Intern we are fans of both actors. It was nice to see that finally a movie that shows an older person teaching a younger one about how business was conducted before so much technology. Back to working and enjoying what type of employment we do. Than just the stress that comes with the modern form of production. Highly recommend it for a family night with teenagers.

The premise is VERY sweaty, and the whole Anders Holm subplot never works. But that almost doesn’t matter - Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway give career-best performances. Just a rare, sterling example of how important platonic friendships are.

Who says you too old to try something new? That is the premise of this funny and heartwarming tail about a widower who jumps into the tech world to get a new lease on life. With is humor and determination he wins the approval of not only his co-workers, but his boss too. A great movie with a wonderful theme.
