I’ve wanted this movie for quite a long time and decided to pick it up while shopping online. This is one of Steve Martin’s best movie ever. The story is ok but one liners and sight gags is what makes this one a classic!!

I like Steve Martin, but I've never been as big a fan of The Jerk as some are. Even so, the movie definitely has its moments (and gets a 4 out of 5 from me). The plus for this edition is that it's Blu-ray for a really good price and is packaged with DVD and Ultraviolet versions. In addition, the "Best of the Decade" packaging has some nice trivia from the 1970s. The bonus features are limited for this version, but you can't beat it for the sale price.

This movie could not, and certainly would not, be made today. It is a low budget introduction of Steve Martin to the big screen. There is language and situations that honestly I'm surprised haven't had picket lines formed over it. Taken for what it is, just a movie, it's so bad it's hilarious. That is part of the charm, it's just such a weird, uncool movie, that it becomes cool.

Such a classic and cute film with Steve Martin. It has so many quotable lines that areclaugh out loud funny you'll want to watch ot again and again! First time on Blu-ray!! Get it now before it's gone!

This movie in way before its time Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters are hilarious with random cameos of unsung cast members, this silly flick generates laughs, leaving little time for viewers to catch every punchline the first time around.

I saw this movie when it first came out in the theaters and thought it was so funny. My husband and I were talking about it one day, and I saw the movie in the store shortly after and had to get it. It's still as funny today as it was then.

I love Steve Martin movies I have seen every single one. When I came across this one I had to grab it, I love how funny it is without trying to be funny. In the movie he is honestly just being himself and all this stuff happens and he's a jerk.

I’ve always wanted to see this Universal Studios Classic! It is a really fun film! Steve Martin is great! Awesome for the collectors or if you want to try something new!

Although certain parts of the movie are a little slow, the fact that the majority of the film is so off-the-wall random and ridiculously funny more than makes up for it. In addition, surprisingly the quality of the blu-ray is top notch for a 70's film. They must have digitally enhanced the heck out of this to make it look so good.

Before Steve martin was such an accomplished, this is where he started. Amazing to see he began at this movie, and it is as funny and silly and ridiculous as the title suggests. A great way to begina career. Great great movie.

Just buy it! Absolute classic and comedy gem. One of the most quotable comedies ever. They do not make comedies this darn hilarious. Sit back with a pizza in a cup and enjoy. Also great transfer to Blu Ray btw

How can you not like a classic? This movie is so beautiful in its simplicity that it will make you laugh every time you watch it! Plus, I bought it for cheap with a gift card so how can one go wrong either way?

I don't really know if this is a true cult classic yet but it should be. Hands down best Steve Martin movie ever, grab your thermos and be prepared for some good laughs. Not for the kids, especially hipsters.

Finally upgraded this comedy classic from DVD to bluray! It definitely delivered on superior picture quality and audio. Made watching this film like a first time experience! Steve Martin's best film!

Steve Martin is just hilarious in this movie. It is so funny stupid in the best sense possible. The writers are geniuses and Steve Martin just plays the part really well. Will make you bust a gut.

I'm so glad these classics are being offered to us to keep for our libraries. I also pick up good buys to send to soldiers on the front lines. This would be fun for them.

"The Jerk" introduced us to Steve Martin whose genius/artistry continues to both sustain and expand over time. If you love movies, I recommend adding this film to your collection.

This movie is outrageously funny, and seems to get better the more it is watched. If you're looking for a classic comedy to watch again and again, don't look any further.

I just watched this for the 12th time, but it only felt like the 4th time. The first time, felt like half a time. the second time only felt like 1/10th of a time........
