There's not much to say about this film that others have not already heard but it's easily one of my favorites in the animated Disney lineup.

Love the movie in its original format. but the enhancement that comes w/blu ray lets you see the movie as if it you were watching it the 1st time. The whole picture viewing was different for the better. Niece and nephew loved watching it. Especially Kaa and Shere Khan.

This was a Valentine's present for my wife she loved it .I could not find it any where.this was the only store around that had this. I also picked up a couple of cds the eagles farewell tour . The people at the store were friendly and new what they were talking about.

It is good to see Disney release Jungle Book in Blu-Ray. The detail of the cartoon and 5.1 digital is great. I purchase the movie for the enterainment of an excellent Disney cartoon movie. We have generations in the family that will enjoy the movie for years to come.

Bought as a gift. Friends favorite classic Disney movie so was thrilled to finally find it available in a store.

Its a great classic movie from my childhood to share with my kids! I also love that its a steel book so it will last for a long time. I love that i can watch the movie with my children and make great memories with them like i did with my family when i was a child.

Picture: Disney has done a truly magnificent job of bringing this much-loved classic to Blu-ray with its re-mastered AVC 1.75:1 1080p encode. The film's scratchy line work looks more accurate than ever, the multi-layered animation is perfectly rendered and the painted backdrops are drop-dead gorgeous. It's the best that this film has looked in over 45 years. Audio: The original mono sound design has been given a DTS-HD MA 7.1 remix for this Blu-ray. For the most part it's still sympathetic to the source elements, with most of the action centered on the front stereo spread. But occasional spot effects in the surrounds and the enveloping nature of the all-important music are always there to remind you of the track's multichannel attributes. Extras: Newly created content for this Diamond Edition comes in the form of a brief intro by composer Richard Sherman, an 18-minute promo featurette for Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, a lengthy alternate ending presented in storyboard form and a wonderful 41-minute documentary that looks at Disney's legendary Nine Old Men (the studio's inner circle of animators) through the eyes of their families. The remaining extras have all been ported over from previous DVD editions, but are just as valuable as ever. In addition to a fascinating commentary, you also get a five-part Making of… (46 minutes), four additional featurettes, discussion of a deleted storyline that would have featured a new character (Rocky the Rhino), a wildlife video for kids, seven deleted songs, sing-along lyrics and music video.

I was born in the early 80's but i do remember watching this movie all the time and besides my father would watch it himself. He loved the movie. Jungle Book is a great movie loosely based on the actual book. I love it. Message approved by Old King Louie.

The movie is great for our 3 year old. She loves that it's full of animals. There is a little more "name calling" than most of the Disney classics, but the language isn't crude. It bothers me that the old Disney movies never go on sale, though...

An all time animated classic comes to life like never before! Three ways to watch, Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. Loaded with two hours of Bonus feature's and includes a great activity book for children. A great product for all age groups and family fun!

Love the old Disney Movies, they are the best! My children loved and Know my grandchildren will love them too.

I've never seen a Disney movie I didn't like, when I was a kid and now as an adult. Catchy tunes and funny animal characters, what's not to like. And remember Disney movies get expensive once they go back into the 'Vault'. So.....

I remember watching this film growing up as a kid and I just loved it. I wanted my preschool students to experience some of that magic while at the same time teach them about jungle habitats. It's a fun movie and the kids got a kick out of it.

This is a great movie for all ages. I love it!! I love all the Disney movies they have great stories and good lessons to learn without a lot of drama. Disney never fails at making great movies!

This is one of the best Disney movies of all time. The transfer is crisp and the animation looks as good as ever. With multiple ways to watch this film, upgrading your old DVDs or VHS tapes to the Blu-Ray Diamond edition is a no-brainer.

I have always loved the movie and was very happy to see it on blu-ray. I would have liked to see more activities for kids like the old paper books that Disney used to sell at Safeway. Where they could do Jungle book crosswords or find the characters

I am a little biased as I love the majority of the Disney movies. But Jungle Book is a classic--love the songs and characters in the movie. I am more into the actual movie than the "extras" so I cannot comment if the "extras" content is good or not.

Whether you're looking for one copy of the Jungle Book, or three copies, this combo is a must-have in any serious Disney fan's collection. Included is the DVD, Blu-ray, as well as a digital copy. Best version you can get thus far.

Once again the Disney vault has released a classic that has really been enhanced in blu-ray format. Still one if the best all time Disney movies and has some of the most lovable characters. Must own! Kids love it! Especially if they love animals!

I was so excited to see that Disney was bringing back the Jungle Book with a Diamond Edition. I love that the digital copy is compatible with iTunes. The quality and sound are excellent. Brings back some great childhood memories. Recommended.
