This is easily one of the greatest movies of all time. Daniel Day Lewis is spectacular. Excellent cinematography. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Surround is fully utilized and truly immersive. This film literally has zero flaws. It's a must see.

Daniel Day-Lewis did an amazing job in this movie, These actors are the real deal and keep a sense of truth to their characters in how they act and feel about events. The way they fight was not super human and not overly primal, more raw and real of how you imagined they would fight with the weapons they had at that time, both with guns and axes. This is my fiance's favorite movie and she could watch it a million times over and over again.

This is one of my favorite movies, so I was disappointed when there were several noticeable glitches and artifacts on this copy. This is unacceptable from a blu ray that is supposed to be remastered.

Anyone who enjoys history, beautiful scenery, a spell binding plot, or Daniel Day Lewis will love this film. This is the third time I have watched the picture and every time I see it, I want to watch it again. The cinematography alone is worth seeing the film and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Great movie from James Fenimore Cooper's famous novel. Filmed in the mountains of NC, the cinematography is gorgeous! Love the waterfalls at DuPont State Forest between Hendersonville and Brevard. Some of those same waterfalls were locations for The Hunger Games.

One of my favorites history movies. The romantic movie goes around the two principal characters that feel in Love in the middle of the french, american and British war to get US Territory. After all the bad moments the love, the courage and the love for your family wins again. The sound track is wonderful, very sofisticated and oscar winner.

If you haven't seen this movie you've got to run to Best Buy and get it. You will watch over and over. We owned this on dvd but has gotten pretty worn over the years. We purchased on Blu Ray at a great price. We were happy to find it at Best Buy. They have a great selection of new and older movies.

Great movie good price good experience as usual looking forward to making my next purchase I just wished I could GET my hands on the PS5 HAVING HARD TIME GETTING MY HANDS ON ONE WOULD BE VERY HAPPY IF POSSIBLE.

This movie is one of the best American classics we have had in the past 20 years! A great movie to watch with older children and family. The soundtrack is incredible which is why it won the Oscar, but watching the special features I had no idea Daniel Day-Lewis actually stayed out in the wilderness for months and was trained to use the actual weapons-ONE OF MY FAVORITE movies EVER!!!

If you're going to watch this rather than read the book for a class...read the book. There's a bit of a difference but Daniel Day Lewis is good regardless.

The novel The Last of the Mohicans was required reading in Junior High School because of the reality of the story, the strong characters, and the revealed Native American history. This screen presentation is true tot he story and is accompanied by some of the finest music ever written for a movie. You will enjoy this film.

Great movie, at the time of the French and Indian War. Story about a Mohican Warrior and his two sons one his and one adopted white son (played by Daniel Day-Lewis). It is about the English and French in war with romantic stories about the Colonels daughters and the Mohicans and alot of action of war, and early American history. A movie for 17 and up.

One of my top 10 favorite movies of the last 25 years ! It is a Great War, adventure & romance movies of its type. Great acting, fantastic scenery & great plot!

The film is very entertaining. Women will like the romance and Daniel Day-Lewis, men will like the action. The portrayal of Native Americans of this time period is very realistic along with their relationship to the English & French. Michael Mann's commentary is incredible! It's a history lesson that shouldn't be missed.

The Frontiersman and the Indians. A story from before the beginning of our country. When I first saw the movie in theaters it seem disjointed and then rushed to a conclusion. After reading the book it seems the first third of the story took three quarters of the movie. Which explains the rush to a conclusion. Still a movie is vision and sound as well as plot and dialogue. See the movie to set the environment and then read the book to experience the whole story.

I actually saw this twice within the last 8 months, and even the second time around It was still great watching this movie. All the actors in major and minor roles contributed to making this a entertaining experience. Yes it is sad in parts, but overall the value of morals of the Indians along with the white men tells a beautiful and bittersweet story..

I buy a lot of movies and I only buy blu-ray. Most modern movies the transfer to blu-ray is decent. This happens to be one of my absolute favorite movies and at only $5. This is one one Daniel Day Lewis' best movies. The movie sound track is moving. I forgot I already had it. Oh well, I have another copy.

One of the greats, folks. From the Cinematography, acting, direction, costume, screenplay, storyline and most definitely score. This is a story for the ages depicting the brutality & human will set against the birth of the American frontier with a timeless love story set in between.

The Last of The Mohicans is a great movie, but a couple of parts were left out that we had seen before and there were a couple of parts in it that we hand not seen before. Wish there was one totally complete movie with everything in it. However, this still was a great movie to watch.

The hauntingly beautiful Gaelic song, "I Will Find You," is missing from the Blu-Ray version. Unforgivable. The "Extras" included on the Blu-Ray relate details about the choice of location, construction of sets, and making of costumes and weaponry to make the movie as authentic as possible. Worth watching - maybe even before watching the movie again! Seemed to be a shortened version of the movie. as I had first seen it.
