This is an upgrade to the previous DVD version I have of the movie. I took this option since a 4K version of the movie is currently unavailable.

It had been several years since I first saw this movie. I purchased it to see it again. I knew I had enjoyed it. I had forgotten how well it was made. It still stands up today. The acting, directing hold up well. This is a great version of a classic tale. I highly recommend.

I still wish Michael Mann had focused a little less on Hawkeye/Cora and a little more on the more interesting love story that happened right under their noses in Uncas/Alice, but what do I know. This is still a great film either way.

Daniel Day Lewis has come a long way in his career since this film was released but it still remains one of his best. This beautifully shot Action classic takes place during the French and Native American war. A great romance in the backdrop.

I actually ordered two movies with one ordered. Both were perfect and done in a most timely fashion. The sales Lady took the second movies product number for me so I could order it while checking out. Awesome service every visit at my local store.

Good movie but some scenes o have to turn up my tv past 50 then turn it back down to 20

If you're a fan of the Revolutionary War time period this movie is an amazing ride; Daniel Day Lewis is one of his generations great actors; the performances, settings. and action are all off the chart! A great addition to the blu ray library!

I never would have guessed that anything by James Fenimore Cooper could be such a sexy action film, but when Daniel Day Lewis looks at Madeleine Stowe, sparks fly! I’ve used this film in lit classes and the students are riveted.

Such a great movie! Loved it as I was growing up dispite not knowing what it was about as a kid....as I got older it made more sense and I love it. If you don't buy it for the reviews, just think of sexy men running in the forest with amazing hair!!!! Lol

The music, cinemetography and the story are unique and compelling. I use this for enterntainment and a discussion starter with the students I work with. It always peeks their interest in wanting to know more about the history and politics of the time period.

This version of Cooper's Amerindian tale excels on all counts, particularly acting and scoring. It does not shrink from the complexities of American history. Not to miss!

Whats there to say other than this movie is a classic. Definitely worth any collection. Pure enjoyment. I was lucky enough to watch it in the theaters

DDL running thru the forest with his long flowing locks, beautiful scenery, good guys, bad guys, the English, the French, the honorable Native Americans, the damsel in distress, the proud damsel, everything you love in a romance/action adventure.

I have always loved this version of Last of the Mohicans, filmed in North Carolina. The scenery, score, and script, as well as the acting, are superb. This action-filled film would be great for high school lit classes.

I had to buy this. Its been so long since ive seen this and its still as good as when i watched it in the 90's and the screen looks better even though its a blu ray movie!!!!!

Historical context for James Fenimore Cooper's novel - stunning scenery surrounds outstanding acting and a passionate love story. Music you won't soon forget - especially the hauntingly Celtic "I Will Find You" sung by Clannad.

Excellent retelling of the last of the Mohicans. Daniel Day Lewis is phenomenal but it's the lushness of the photography (beautiful country settings!!) and the musical score that makes this a movie worth watching again and again.

Last of the Mohicans on Blu-ray 1992, the Blu-ray transfer looks pretty good. Nothing new added from DVD, and as for the movie itself. It’s a action love story, the ending seams like there is something missing.

I blew this movie off when it first came out, my mistake. Classic story, from a time when anything west of Albany NY was the frontier. Highly recommended

I saw this movie when it first came out. I just bought the blue ray copy and it is still a great movie. The scenery is beautiful. And the storyline is true to the book . This is a must see for the whole family !!
