If you enjoyed the Last of Us on the PS3 originally, this remaster is really nice. They did a great job with remastering the game as well. If you've never played before, you definitely have to pick up!

I missed this on PS3 and just now getting around to playing the remastered version on my PS4 Pro. This is a great game with a compelling story, especially since I it is now a <$20 title.

If you are into third person shooter games, this game if perfect. Games that are similar The Last of Us would be Uncharted. The remastered version comes with the main DLC packs that were released for the Playstation 3. The online match making is a little tedious but overall it is pretty good. The main aspect of the game is the story mode. I would not recommend game to anyone younger than 13 years old, a lot of profanity and gore.

My first ps4 game as I have been with Xbox for about 10 years now. And I have to say this game is difficult but fun at the same time. Can't wait for 2nd.

I could write an entire essay on this game, but if you check out the end credits after playing it, you'll see how much resources went in to creating this work of art. From the dialogue, voice acting, to level design, atmosphere, environment and gameplay, this has it all. At age 33, I can say this is the greatest game I have ever played. The last of us dwells on emotion and as the player they do a superb job of making you feel for the characters and seeing the intricacies within their relationships. I have never seen this done before in a game and never thought I would get attached to something. To date, I have played it 6 or 7 times. Getting the remastered version was a nice little treat.

I had tons of recommendations to play this game from numbers of friends who plays PS4 regularly.
I did try to play this game by purchasing with PS4 pro and while I love the story of this game, it was bit hard for me to play in Normal setting.
Furthermore, I felt little dizziness while playing this game. (3D sickness)

Even if you played the PS3 version, this game is still worth revisiting. Photo mode is included in this version, as is all the DLC. If you haven't played the game before, then you are in for a treat.

I normally don't fall for remasters too much, and this generation has been chock full of them, but if there was ever a title worth of remastering it would be The Last of Us. The game's fantastic story and gameplay carry over from the original PS3 port, but you also get a decent amount of value from the PS4 hardware. The framerate has been doubled and there is a lot of added functionality from the PS4's dualshock controller. Sometime's the speaker in the controller is used as a gimmick, but here it works rather well and adds to the atmosphere in the game. If you owned this on the PS3 you probably don't need it, but if you've never experienced the hype and have a next-gen console this is a must-own.

Great game for the PS4. Also, I'm not really the kind of person that enjoys multiplayer in games but the factions mode in this game has one of the better and more unique takes on it out there today. Give it a shot

Perhaps the best game of the PS3 console, it came out at the end of the PS3's life when most were already placing theirs in closets and preparing for the arrival of the PS4 and XBox One. The Last of Us Remastered is a great experience on the PS4 and if you missed it on PS3, now ther's no excuse. The music and characters of this story are fleshed out very well and add depth to the story happening around them as you follow a father who's lost his daughter, and a young girl who just may be the answer to the question of whether a cure can be found or not. Moving away from the concept of Zombies as a mere horror gimmick, this is as much a story of a Pessimist who finds hope in a young new daughter, more than an apocalyptic plot.

One of the greatest games of the decade. Wonderful plot, original, unique with characters that you come to love, that you connect with. Can’t wait for the next in the series

So I've have said this so many times this week, The Last of Us Remastered is a must own for the PS4 owners. If you played it when it was on the PS3, and you now have a PS4, owning it again will not be a mistake.
The enhanced graphics and upped frame rate, thanks to the PS4 engine, is a welcomed addition. What you get is an already beautiful game looking even more beautiful and running so smooth at 60fps. And now with a camera option, you can catch some of your many tense moments.
The only possible downfall people might bring up is the price point. But I would say $39 is fair enough, plus you are getting the DLC Left Behind at no extra cost.
Look do yourself a favor and pick up this masterpiece! You will not regret the choice!

If there is one game that is a must own on the ps4 besides Tomb Raider the Definitive Edition, it is most definitely The Last of Us Remastered. The graphics alone will blow your mind just because of the sheer attention to detail. The vast landscapes and grittiness will make you feel like you are in the game. What's style though without substance, and this is where this game truly shines. The gameplay is amazing. The sound effects will have you on the edge of your seat. This game is rated "M" for mature so there is plenty of gore and cursing to go around. In a nutshell if you are looking for a perfect experience wrapped in a 1080p 60fps body and something to showcase the power of the ps4, then wait no longer, this is a must buy.

This game is nearly perfect and is up there with some of the greatest Mario, Zelda, Halo and Uncharted games of all times. Probably even topples all of them. It has won over 200 awards, many of them "Game of the Year". It's story driven and the graphics are among the best in the industry, the controls are tight, the atmosphere is at times depressing and really makes you feel as if you are in the world with how immersive it is. The characters make you truly care about them and moves you at the heart. The world is eerie and believable. It's the best survival, action adventure, horror, story driven game I've played in my life and to believe that this is a remaster of the PS3 version is bonkers!

I never got the chance to play this on the PlayStation 3 because I was an Xbox 360 owner. However, upon getting a PS4, I knew I had to experience the game that had gamers and critics everywhere losing their collective minds. With a Gamers Club Unlocked coupon and the 20% member discount itself, I was able to save $8 on this game and only paid $12 for it. Even at the standard $20, you won't find many games better than this one.
It's been so long since I've played a game this raw, emotional, and well voice acted. Do yourself a huge favor and play this game if you haven't already. With a sequel in the works, I'm incredibly excited to see where it goes from here!
