Great game, but not a huge step up from the PS3

As everyone has already said, this is a great game. I enjoyed the game on the PS3 and had to try it on the PS4. The graphics weren't THAT much better on the PS4. A bit more detail, a bit smoother, but not a huge improvement. I'm not sure how much better I was expecting it to be... The graphics were already amazing on the PS3. If for nothing else, it was a good excuse to play through the game again, which was worth it. If you've never played The Last of Us, you have to buy it for the PS4. If you have the PS3 version, just pull out your PS3 and play it again.
An Absolute Masterpiece, can't wait to play part 2

The greatest, most intense, enduring, and emotional journeys I’ve ever had the pleasure of resting my eyes on. An absolute masterpiece, subsequently fitted with an immersive narrative that pulls the player in as time progresses. It creates a relationship, relating to not only characters within the game, but the player like me/you, allowing an action-packed adventure that seems so long yet concise.

I have only played the first player portion, so I have no experience with the multiplayer aspect. I have thoroughly enjoyed both the story and gameplay, and I usually don't like third person shooting games. I felt for the characters, their actions were reasonable and emotionally driven. I got plenty of gameplay without it being too difficult. There wasn't an overabundance of trophies, which I find quite prevalent in games, but all the collectibles served a purpose, not just a random pick me up situation.

Since this is my first time playing tlou, I can't help but say this one of the most captivating story lines I've evrr played. Graphics are amazing ,I can only compare with my daughter who has the original version. Though I am a dad of three I try to get in a few hours of gaming each night and I must say my own hang up and I know everyone will joke me and that's fine is the clickers they alwats seem too get a hold of me, even when I take out a few with a brick, shotgun or 38 the bow is useless to me and so is phil I think thats his name. Anyway great game!

Has a very strong and deep emotional story. You will connect with the characters instantly. The story is so well told that you start to care for the characters too much. Gameplay is near perfect and not repetitive. You can choose to run and gun or sneak and attack. I highly recommend this game.to anyone who gets a PS4. You will not be disappointed.

This is a must play, must own exclusive game for the playstation. NaughtyDog is the premier game developer. If you've played any of the Uncharted series, you are familiar with their work. The story, graphics and gameplay in this game will keep you coming back until the end. By far my favorite game of all time. I have played it over and over. Dark and violent third person shooter with the best story and character acting I have ever experienced in a video game. Well worth the price. Especially now! Buy it!

I was unsure if the remastered version was worth the money, but I am very happy with the game. It has a fantastic storyline that gets you emotionally involved right off the bat and incorporates the PS4s capabilities very well. For instance, the clicking on and off of the flashlight uses the speaker on the controller to give you an immersive experience in the game. Overall, the price point is great for anyone who hadn't given this game a chance yet. Great update to one of the better games of the past 5 years.

Ive played this game through a couple time on PS3. It was awesome. Now ive played the PS4 version through on Survivor and It just raised the bar. Improved graphics (obviously) and much smoother gameplay. Felt like playing for the first time only more difficult setting. I also enjoyed Ellies bonus game. Def worth playing for the tie-in alone. You know as well as I do this game rocks. The only complaint I have is the semi linear game direction. You know it looks like an open world but you cant explore as much as you might think. Still an A+ game!

What's is there still to say about The Last of Us in 2016? This is still, by far, the best narrative driven game ever made. I'm not a fan of the actual gameplay (not that it's bad, I just don't enjoy stealth games that much), but it's so worth it to progress the story and learn more about these wonderful characters. If you played the original on PS3, the remaster does seem a bit jarring at 60fps when you first start but you'll get used to it. There's really no excuses left for not playing this masterpiece yet.
