Love having a great game to take on the go. Dynamic between light and dark is awesome and makes you think. This isn't so complicated that it's not accessible to younger kids, so once I finish up my 8 year old can try to tackle the game as well.

The ability to switch between a painting and regular character add a new dimension to the puzzles in the game. This is second to ALTTP as my favorite 2D Zelda title. Kudos for adding a new game + mode which adds replay value to the game.

This game starts off much like it's a clone of the SNES Zelda game A Link to the Past. The influence is very apparent throughout - but it still lays out new systems that innovate and delineate from your standard Zelda fare.

Loved the game. If you played the SNES version you'll feel right at home in that most everything is in the same plot. HOWEVER, the game is different as far as characters and story goes, so it's different enough to not get boring

I played the original Zelda games before OOT. When the series went to 3D graphics, I didn't really care for the tedious gameplay that went along with it. This harkens back to the roots of the series in a way that I really enjoyed.

This game is really fun! It's unique and different! I thought this would be a remake from the GameBoy Advance version "A Link to the Past" but it's something completely new. I think it's the sequel but I'm not too sure.

What is there more to say? This game wastes no time in tossing you in a world that is meant to be explored. There was so much to do and figuring out how to get certain items was half the fun of discovery. The overall story is really good, but can be a little predictable near the end. The gameplay is fun, challenging, and with the wall morphing mechanic, it adds a whole new level of exploration and puzzle solving. Most Nintendo games hold your hand, but Link Between Worlds knows it's for the hardcore gamers.

this game is perfect for all kinds of people. It is very simple in the way the graphics look and how the gameplay is, yet it is still challenging. If you liked "a link to the past" you will love this game.

Return to classic form

If you've enjoyed the early SNES Zelda games then this is a return to form. Everything is where you expect it to be if you remember a Link to the Past, but they have changed enough of the map and gameplay to keep things interesting. It's new mechanics are good and dungeons are focused on puzzle design since each dungeon is not tied to a single item anymore. The only down side is that because items are not tied to dungeons, some of them may be completely missed if you don't do any exploration.

I was optimistic about buying this since I already played a link to the past but boy was I wrong. The story is completely different and there's new weapons and specials. Highly recommend the game.

I haven't played through the whole game yet. But from what I've played so far, it's an enjoyable experience. The story is compelling enough. The puzzle solving is challenging but not overly so.

I haven't enjoyed a 2D Zelda this much since Link to the Past on the SNES. There is a good reason this is a sequel to LttP. Cannot recommend this game enough for any Zelda or Nintendo fan.

If you liked A Link to the Past, then this will be a nostalgia bomb, as the game takes place on the same map, just with some alterations and in 3d. The game also is a throwback to the original NES Zelda as you can play any dungeon in any order (aside from the first and last I belive). The new wall merging mechanic brings new elements to puzzles. The music is gorgeois, as usual with Zelda titles. Overall a fantastic game!

This game is unlike most other entries in the Zelda saga. That being said, it is a welcome change. The game is full of adventure and puzzles that I would recommend to gamers of all ages.

This game was really inspired by Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and it's obvious how much the developers and designers have respect for that game. It doesn't feel like a copycat and new abilities and gimmicks like merging with walls and renting items provide a fresh take on the classic Zelda adventure formula. For those craving nostalgia, I definitely recommend this game available now for Nintendo 3DS!

There's no question why this game won Handheld Goty! If you own a 3DS, please give this game a chance! For one it's Zelda and it's a really good one. Did I mention it's portable?
