At the onset of this game, I was unsure how much I was going to like it. It just didn't feel...right for some reason. I guess, to me, it didn't feel enough like previous LoZ games. The more I played, however, the more I liked. If you had asked me some 5 or 10 hours into the game if it was my favorite LoZ game, I would have said no. Now at 95+ hours...I'm pretty well convinced it's my favorite of the series. There is just so much to see and do in this game! The story, while nothing revolutionary, still has me emotionally invested in both Zelda and Link. The gameplay is amazing! If you can see it, you can go to it. Also, there's really no right or wrong way to play. It's...just...an amazing game. If you have a Switch or Wii U, you absolutely need to pick this game up. This is most definitely a must have for any gamer.

The game is easily the greatest Zelda game ever made... a true masterpiece! It is worth the extra $40 ($20-$30 if you have GamersClub) for the carrying case that it comes with considering that a regular one will run you about $20 dollars.

Absolutely phenomenal game! So much to do and see, no two people will have the same experience. My son and I have marvelled at how different our play has been in this game! And the Special Edition has some really nice items included!

Zelda Breath of the Wild has taken forever to get here. It would have been amazing on the Wii U but I'm glad Nintendo held off to release it with their new Switch console. Why? The Wii U was in 13 million homes and the Switch is sold out everywhere, this attention is extra important for a game of this magnitude. The gameplay, size of the map, story, and art style are amazing on this game. Think of Zelda, strip away the ancient gameplay mechanics (except for the Z-Targeting), add freedom, and that is what you have here. Kind of like Zelda on the NES except the world is hundreds of times larger. Without spoiling anything I can easily say that this game is worth the admission price of a Nintendo Switch. You get a lot for your money except it's not fluff like in most RPGs or sandbox games.

You get a great variety of goodies in this package - worth it alone for the game and case (which is sturdy and well constructed). Soundtrack, coin and map are nice - I think this is the smartest purchase for this game variation.

i bought this version because i wanted the carrying case. (which is an awesome case by the way) but the other add ins like the map and coin are much higher quality than i anticipated. the soundtrack is just icing on the cake.

Game exceeded my expectations. I can't imagine going back to a Zelda that isn't open world. There is some slow down in the game, but nothing that broke it. The special edition box is much larger than I expected. Recommended

Breath of the wild is a must have video game, and this collector's edition only sweetens the deal. The soundtrack alone justifies the additional cost. The hard case for the Switch system is also surprisingly good quality.

I was so excited when this Special Edition was announced because of the case, but the soundtrack is amazing, the poster is beautiful, and the coin is very sturdy. And it comes with the game, so it is definitely worth it.

This game is the absolute best Zelda game I've played in years. The bonuses this comes with are also great. The carrying case is really nice for those times my wife and I are out and about and I still want to play Zelda.

The game is as awesome as everyone is saying, and the bonuses in the packaging are fun. The flipside of the map contains a tapestry image that's key to the game's story, and it's fun to be able to study it with my kids.

Picked it up before I even got my Switch. Lucked out and ran into it by accident and I'm glad I did. The case is very well-crafted, though it does leave a tiny bit to be desired in its space for a charger, and if a smaller charger comes out, it'd be perfect. The game is amazing and the coin has a good heft to it. I stuck mine inside the BotW game case with the adhesive it came with. The map is of high quality in look and feel, with a solid thick texture that rolls up easily and is more a display piece than a game guide. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Fans of Ocarina of Time and the first Legend of Zelda alike will greatly enjoy Breath of the Wild. Wide open environments allow players to go where they want, when they want. The equipment system works well with the open environment, and there are hundreds of puzzles strewn across the map for players to enjoy, as well.

I've had high hopes for Breath of the Wild for some time, and I must say, it did not disappoint. The game itself is beautiful and there's so much to do. This sets the new standard for the open-world medium. The special edition included everything as advertised, and initially I was a little worried about the quality of the carrying case, but can confirm that it is made very well. My only complaint is that it secures the console in place with nothing but a thick velcro strip, which holds steadily but the connecting point for it is over the screen of the console. I don't think it would scratch it easily, and I use a screen protector anyway so my worries here are fairly negligible. Overall, very good bundle, worth every penny.

First of all, the game is amazing! Second of all you can't go wrong with all the cool collectors items! The carrying case is so cool and everything fits in there. I definitely recommend this if you're a fan!

An excellent game that lives up to all the hype. This is the Zelda title I've been waiting for since Ocarina almost 20 years ago. The poster, coin, and case included with this are cool collectors items.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is easily one of the best games the past few years. Check the reviews if you don't believe me. I've been playing games a long time and Zelda games since the beginning. I can safely say that this is biggest, best Zelda adventure since Ocarina of Time. I might like it even more than that. The game is phenomenal. As for the Special Edition package, the case is a bit garish but is well designed and holds the system along with games and accessories. The soundtrack CD is very nice and the coin and map are neat, albeit less-exciting extras. I'm glad I went for the special edition since it saved me from purchasing an add-on case. If you could get one I would recommend it.

Comparing games across genres is hard, but this is a game few people would argue may very well be the greatest video game ever made. It's like playing through a Miyazaki movie, only better. Everything in the game is fun, and everything looks amazing. You can easily put in a hundred hours or more and still feel like exploring the world. The special edition version is also completely worth it, largely becomes it comes with a very decent case for the Switch. At first I thought it looked silly and weird, but after playing the game, I love that it looks like the Sheikah Slate that you carry around for the whole game. The map and coin are nice too, but the case is what really makes this a decent deal.

The box is huge. The map is printed on thick textured paper, the case is quality , the music CD is very soothing, and the coin is neat.. Great buy for any Zelda fan the game will take your breath away.
