I cannot recommend this game enough. If you haven't played this masterpiece on the N64, then you should not miss this opportunity. If you've already experienced it before, there are more than enough reasons to buy it again. Aside from the obvious graphical update, the controls and inventory system were improved to provide a more streamlined experience. Also, the bosses were given some tweaks that improved the battles. If you want a surreal experience with a ton of atmosphere, this is a game that you cannot miss out on.

The only thing better (in my opinion) than old school Zelda games are the remastered, 3D versions on the 3ds!!! I wish every Zelda was remade for the 3ds as I love to be able to play on the go. The Legend of Zelda series is one of my all time favs and to be able to play Majora's Mask again on a portable handheld is amazing. You'll definitely wanna play this on the 3ds--Majora's Mask is an incredible game, probably the 2nd best Zelda ever behind Ocarina of Time.

This is not the same thing they did with Ocarina 3d. This remake is absolutely stunning, so beautifully remastered that you will not believe your eyes, especially if you play it on the new 3ds xl system (which is a must have if you really want your system to have reliable 3d). Do not hesitate to buy this game, buy the combo set, or buy them separately. The new bombers notebook interface as well as the upgraded graphics engine make this game a worthy player.

Like many others, I skipped Majora's Mask after Ocarina of Time. I played it off as a weird, unintelligent follow up to what is considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. The opportunity to play it in 3D on my New 3DS had me instantly interested. I'm now about 5 hours in and am completely hooked. It's so different from previous Zelda entries, that it feels fresh and new. I definitely recommend all Zelda fans to give this a look!

If you're a fan of 3d Zelda games then this is a must play as it is one of the more unique experiences in the Zelda franchises. The story and atmosphere is much darker than usual and it also implements the 3 day cycle system. At first glance it seems daunting but it actually integrates extremely well into the classic Zelda gameplay as you have a time limit but you never feel too rushed. Great Zelda game and glad it's finally on a portable system!

It's a classic reborn. If you never checked out the original in the N64 days, pick this up immediately.

This is a great remake of the classic GameCube game of the same name. The difficulty level is the same, the art is the same (though the graphics are better, of course), the fun and challenges from the original are just the same. But it's so much easier to play on a handheld instead of a console! The controls are a lot less finicky. I definitely recommend this for people who like the original AND for those of you who haven't already played it.

I never played this game the first time around, but I'm glad I have the opportunity too now. I'm still not crazy about the timers just like I thought, but there is a lot of this game to like if you're a Zelda fan. It does feel different than any other entry in the series, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. On a side note, this is the first game I've played on a 3DS that I kept in 3D more often than not, and it does look awesome.

This game was great in the N64 days, now it holds its own among the ranks of 3DS games. The graphics are pristine and the 3D effects are great and tastefully done. Majora's Mask, as a spiritual successor to Ocarina of Time, plays very similar to its N64 (now 3DS as well) counterpart but adds quite a few elements of transformation, time travel/control and side quests to make it an incredibly diverse, difficult and insanely fun game.

After completing the first dungeon, I honestly felt the 3DS was made to play Zelda games. I haven't played Majora's Mask since the N64 days so this was definitely a treat. Old memories came back as I got frustrated having to rewind time and then slow time using the ocarina. It was a clear departure from what we all would expect from a Zelda game but that's the charm in this re-release. Well worth the purchase.

One of the most interesting game in the Zelda franchise brought to the 3DS.
Graphics are gorgeous and adaptation to the small form factor was definitely very well done.
I'm playing it on the new 3DS, which makes it much easier because of the second analog stick that controls the camera.
Just be aware that this Zelda game is much more challenging than most because of the time cycle in the game.

After 40 hours of completing the game I'm very glad to say that this game was well worth the money. While there are only 4 dungeons in this Zelda installment where most of them have 6 or so, Majora's Mask makes up for it in the many, many side quests. Dark undertones and meaningful, deep side stories await in what is one of the best Legend of Zelda games ever made.

This isn't the best Zelda game out there, but Majora's Mask has been a favorite for many people. The 3-day (approximately 1-hour when playing the Inverted Song of Time) time limit is a very different style from what you might consider the standard.
While the 3DS version has made the game easier overall, the bosses are more difficult, and it is more mobile-friendly.

Played it on the N64, and got this for my gf. I have watched her play it and it is nostalgic, and the graphics are better. The 3D is a trip (in a good way) and she reviewed it by saying it is excellent. I miss the days when Nintendo used to *try* to make A LOT of awesome games, instead of a handful in current years. That's why I play Xbox1 and PS4 now.

Lots Of Tasks In Majora's Mask

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is an excellent game! At first, it is a little irritating trying to accomplish everything in three days (Zelda time) but once you realize it is impossible to do all of the tasks that need to be done in that amount of time, the game becomes a lot more fun. The 3-day countdown clock makes you have to hurry to get whatever you can get done in that amount of time before having to go back in time to start the three days from the beginning again. But even though you go back in time, there is a record of your accomplishments and things that you acquired (masks, rupees, items) so you really don't lose too much. The great part about the game is that there is a screen where you can go to look at to see what things you accomplished, tasks that you still have to complete, and hints that you get from the characters. There are so many tasks to do that it would be impossible to keep track of everything without it. It's definitely one of those games that, once you start playing it, it is hard to put down. It's a game you should definitely buy as long as you're at an age where you can read since you have to read various signs or conversations between you and other characters in the game.

My absolute favorite Legend of Zelda game ever so I'm super excited to have it for the New 3DS. A bit scary for young children and definitely not recommended for someone new to the Legend of Zelda series but a great purchase if you're looking for a second LoZ game or a fantastic action-adventure-puzzle solving game in general.

There is no denying that this is one of the most interesting and unique Legend of Zelda games out there. This remake for the 3DS takes a fantastic game, irons out some of the annoying problems, and makes it almost perfect! With it's unique sense of atmosphere, interesting plot and quest system, and a refined gameplay, it's one of the best Zelda games out there.
I would not recommend this to a first-time Zelda player, however. It's fairly overwhelming to the beginner and the looming sense of dread, darkness, and ever-present symbols of death/suffering, should only be experienced after handling any of the other Zelda games. It picks up very quickly and those who played other Zelda games, especially Ocarina of Time, can get full satisfaction from the opening sequences that help solidify some of the vastly different themes of the games.
Game-wise, it'll have you playing for weeks as you try to undo evils in the Land of Termina, only to have them dramatically reset by your own hand because of time constraints. It's fun, engaging, and comes with my highest recommendations. In my opinion, it stands out as one of the best Legend of Zelda games to date.

For any Zelda fans, Majora's Mask is a classic piece and one deserves a remake. That been said the 3ds version of the game is very well made, images looks sharp and fluent, 3D looks awesome, and most important of all, the engaging story and all the masks we need to collect, those feelings are coming back! Fans must buys!

This is the aftermath of Link and his travels after OoT, the previous Zelda Title originally released on N64.
This is a darker type story but still rich in story and Zelda gameplay. Containing puzzles, dungeons and epic boss fights. If you love Zelda you will want to get this before it is out of print!

If you enjoy action/adventure (with a dash of RPG) this is a video game you can't afford to miss playing. It is in my opinion one of the most impressive games in its genre. Even after completing this Legend of Zelda I'm going to go right back in and beat it all over again. And, chances are that after that I'll be drawn back to The Ocarina of Time. Surprisingly Majora's Mask has a good amount of replay value because of all the masks you can collect, and the side-quests are so detailed it's worth it. The end verdict? Buy Majora's Mask, and don't let the expansion pak requirement turn you off. This title would have received a perfect score had it not been for the fact that Zelda: The Ocarina of Time already introduced so much to the 3D world of software. Majora's Mask is that good, and better on some levels. It has a story line that adults can finally get into, and there aren't tutorials around every corner insulting your intelligence. In any case, you'll get so many hours of game play out of this title, and you'll regret missing out otherwise.
