Controls are still a bit janky but it’s a good game

Having the Wii version in my collection, I am happy to say this is a worthwhile HD remaster. Being able to skip some of the handholding and not use motion controls is how the game should have been released originally. The graphics and load times are a huge improvement.

A great classic brought to the switch. The game is very fun from the old wii era of Nintendo. The controller settings take getting used to if you are more familiar with breath of the wild controls as this game was meant for the wii motion plus. Luckily if you don’t like the motion controls you can swap to the normal button controls. The graphics are nice and have been up scaled for the switch resolutions. This game will bring you many hours of fun.

Great and brain workout game. Tons of playing time and really gets you thinking about what is next to do on the adventures.

Great port of the wii game. Uses gyro controls to replaces the wii motion plus.

Skyward Sword is a great Zelda though a bit dated compared to BOTW and TOTK. The story is a great introduction to new Zelda fans and fun for lore.

Gotta play it if you're a Zelda fan, last title with the classic Zelda formula before breath of the wild.

This is a fantastic port from the Wii to Switch. I enjoyed Skyward Sword with the motion plus controller for the Wii and beat it several times. Playing it now on the Switch with my son has been the best. The game still has an interesting pastel pallet for it's landscapes but the models and everything else are much sharper and detailed now. This is a great game if you like The Legend of Zelda Series. If you haven't played it, canonically it's the first and it's amazing what you get to experience and see how it all began. If your only Zelda game has been Breath of the Wild, which is also an amazing entry in the series, this game is more grounded in what the other 3D Zelda games have been. By this I mean having actual dungeons and a more linear progression vs open world exploration. Bot h are good in their own ways, but if you're looking for a more traditional 3D Zelda experience with a great story and great gameplay, this is it.

Game you don’t want to miss. An adventure for the ages.

Wow. Just wow. I replayed Skyward Sword on Wii last year. But seeing this on my new TV with highly vibrant graphics really brought out the design and aesthetics of the game. Not to mention this is the first storyline in the series so a must play for Zelda fanes

I loved the original game for the wii when I was a kid and I love this HD remake of it. The colors are bright, the visuals are crisp and the music is just as beautiful as I remember it being. This has to be one of the best legend of zelda games I've ever played.

I’m a overall Zelda fan & was excited that they re-HD’d Skyward Sword. I never played it when it was first released, but I watched videos of others play through the original. It is refreshing to be able to experience the beginning of the Zelda timeline, especially if you are a fan of BOTW… I know it is all out of order. After playing through the game the controls work wonderfully; motion control & button control. It does get frustrating that you have to reset the gyro a couple of times, but you get used to it after you start to play through the story more. This game is exciting, heart-racing & exhausting (in a good way.) You should give this game a try. I wasn’t gong to buy it at first, but I came around and just grabbed it. And as an added bonus Best Buy threw in a free decal set!

Kid loved this game as one of the first ones he got on the switch. Played it all through Christmas break and on road trips. E for everyone, so appropriate for all. It's great it has puzzles in it vs. just shooting.

A classic with control options. The only problem with the Wii original was the lack of options for the controls. Now wether you prefer motion or a regular controller you get to decide. The visual update is nice as well.

Much more then a simple remake; •1080p docked, 720p handheld. •both docked and handled 60fps •reworked controls. And much more!

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is a fantastic Zelda adventure that’s aged like wine, even if Wii-era motion controls still aren’t great.

Im a big zelda fan and this is a added bonus to my collection ....Never got a chance to play it before. Looks beautiful so far and remastered .im in for a treat..

Super fun with a Really nice story line! I could play this over and over again. Seems like my cat really enjoyed it too!

This game is so much fun and it was so easy to order and pick up in the store. I also got free stickers when I picked up the game!
