My 8 years-old son really wanted to play this game, so I bought this (Wii U) for him. He has been playing this game for about a week now. Initially, I was worried that he may be too young for the game, but it turned out to be an excellent game for him. Great storyline and gameplay. Highly recommended for all ages (including grown-ups!).

This is a great Wii U port of the original Nintendo classic but with the stunning HD graphics you get with the Wii U. Love it!!

Wind Waker was one of my fave games on the Gamecube. To be able to see it in all it's HD glory just made it even better.

I'm a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda Series and I love Wind Waker. This version works and plays great on the Wii U.

Anyone who has played the original Wind Waker knows how WRONG the critics were. When WW had its debut, people went ballistic because of the cell shaded graphics. All of a sudden the internet was buzzing about this garbage, "kiddie" take on The Legend of Zelda, and NO ONE was happy. Fortunately, Nintendo once again told the critics to shove it, and put their money where their mouth was. WW ended up being one of the best, if not THE best, installment of this beloved saga. The Wind Waker HD is not just a graphically enhanced "painted" version of the original. Far from it, it has many upgrades that make it a much more sleek, streamlined version of the original. Any way Nintendo could've improved on the original, they irmproved. Not only that, but the music is amazing, and the ability to use SPEED on your boat makes for much less wait time between islands. No true Zelda fan can be without this game, and with added bonuses, and a Wii U dedicated to it, this game isn't one you're likely to pass up. 9/10 - If you don't replay this phenomenal game, you're only hurting yourself.

Wind Waker HD has made the game a lot less tedious. Love the use of Miiverse and the selfie picto box lol.
