The movie takes a different direction then the Nicholas sparks book. I 7nderstand why they told the story this way. The way they showed the past and present was beautiful. Actors were perfectly chosen and a beautiful live story

I wanted to own this film for the longest and finally, I found it. The story focuses on the young couple but actually, there's another tale that is shown. The love story from the past is just as great. I don't want to spoil it so go watch the film

He and she are well matched in this movie, and unlike most romantic movies, trust develops at a gradual pace before physical intimacy. Well-written, well-edited, well-acted, and stimulating, this movie is enjoyable.

This movie was a classic Nicholas Sparks story, combining an love story of older and younger couples with flashbacks to help tell the story. It was well acted and had an ending that was both sad and uplifting.

Great movie and my favorite of all movies based on books by Nicholas Sparks. The cast did a wonderful job and the 2 separate love stories woven together was wonderful. I saw it multiple times when it was in theaters.

Well worth the time and money. There were moments that brought tears to our eyes and others that were just very refreshing to experience. It's just what we needed in this day and time of violence, hatred and deceit.

Scott eastwood is excellent In his performance as a bull rider. He is great looking and has such good chemistry with his costar. A true love story , great for all audiences. I would definitely watch it over and over.

Although this movie can be considered a "chick-flick" to some, it is much better. It actually has a good story line. My husband actually watched it with me more than once. I would recommend the movie.

My daughter loves this. She does not have cable and watched it on her TV from best with the DVD player that was included in the TV. She liked it with the western flair that gave it a different touch.

Based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, The Longest Ride is a touching romantic drama. The story follows an aspiring art major and a professional bull rider who fall in love, and have a chance encounter with an art collector that alters their lives forever.

The Notebook and A Walk to Remember are the best Nicholis Sparks adaptations and while The Longest Ride is not nearly as good as those films, it is much better than the previous few films based on Nicholas Sparks novels. Not a classic but an enjoyable movie.

I agree with the movie cover that this is the best Sparks movie since the notebook. My husband even enjoyed this with the bucking broncs. Great action shots on that. Chick flick with something for the men.

Nicholas Sparks books make great material for movies. A story of love and overcoming challenges. This movie follows two couples and provides a surprisingly lovely ending. Alan Alda is excellent in his role.

I love Nicholas Sparks books and all of the movies that are based on his books this one was no exception!! My hubby even lived this movie enough to treat her a few days in a row after we bought it!

We really liked this movie and the mixing the lives of two couples. There are good examples of commitment to love and being willing to bend in order to support the well being of a relationship.

A movie you must pay attention too otherwise, you will get lost. It's a past love story being told in the present. Don't let the PBR bulling riding fool you into thinking its about "bulling riding". It's a love story of past and present.

First time I saw Scott Eastwood, and he was a great actor. Just like Dad. Hope he continues to make more good movies. What I liked about the movie is the 2 different stories in it.
