Funny, beautiful and with a great story, this movie is an American Classic. The movie looks gorgeous on Bluray and the sound is wonderful. We have watched this movie twice and will watch it again for years.

This is a classic movie full of Hollywood legends.

hard to rate this one. Movies were made very differently in 1960. It is a classic tho. just don't expect sophisticated action and great special effects. All good people in it. I enjoyed it. It would have been a smash hit in '60..As I said lots of stars at a younger age.

I was a Cowboy as a kid. First seen back in the days when TV programming came through the air to your antennae. Great to re-live those memories now on DVD.

You never get tired of watching certain movies and this is one of them. Incredible cast really brings this movie to rise above so many others of it's kind. A must own for your collection.

You still can't beat those old family westerns where the cussing was limited and no nudity and just some shoot em up old time ways. It was a great show with some great stars. Okay for whole family.

With the remake coming out I had to purchase the original!! The original was great!! Looking forward to seeing the remake with the great cast of actors!!!! Definitely would recommend this movie!!!

Akira Kurosawa's classic tale of good vs evil has been relocated to the Old West (using gunfighters instead of samurai warriors). There is more substance to this movie than your average shoot-em-up western. It is fun to see a young Charles Bronson as one of the gunfighters.

This is a western classic--a real epic. This kind of film will NOT be duplicated again. The very best acting ensemble ever assembled. Great action. Great storytelling. Everyone will LOVE it!

I was shocked when I saw that the original was 50 years old!! I saw it when it was first released and thought it was great. After watching it again, I didn't see any reason to change my opinion.

One of the best Westerns ever made, and now on Blu-ray it looks far better than I ever saw in any theater. A great addition to any dvd collection; which must certainly include some true classics!

After seeing the Denzel Washington remake I was eager to see the original. This is truly a classic. Characters that you care about and a story that will keep you engaged until the end.

I love this movie and by having the moving on digital I can watch the movie wherever I am. I also purchased the original version on digital also.

The Magnificent Seven is one of the top five westerns ever made. The plot, characters, photography are perfect. The score is timeless. If you have ever liked the western genre, this is one to buy on Blu ray

Best Western of all time! The cast of this movie is filled with major stars of the time. It has been said this is The American Western version of The Seven Samuri. A must see.
