One of the all time classics, The Maltese Falcon is a must watch for anyone who likes movies. I'm very happy we got a fully restored 4K version. Looks great! The slipcover is also very nice!

WB strikes again with another wonderful new 4k release. The Maltese Falcon has never looked better, the silky black and white image enhanced even further through gorgeous HDR. Seriously, there were times when I just sat and stared at the image on my screen, it's that good. There's a 4k UHD Blu-ray here, of course. There's also a regular Blu-ray and thankfully a digital code to the 4k version of the film to watch on the go. The extras are definitely appreciated. Everything about this release is a triumph and deserves to be in the hands of all Bogart/Huston/old-school film fans.

Another black and white classic is now out in amazing 4k quality for any movie goer to enjoy from start to finish. All the visuals are good along with the film.

This is a beautiful remaster of a classic movie. The black-and-white contrast pops. Images are sharp without looking artificially enhanced.

Gorgous 4K of an all-time classic! Warner bros really did this right. Visually it's stunning; no overblown DNR, HDR10 brings a subtle oomph, image is detailed with naturally grain and tones, top notch source and transfer. Never looked better on home video. The movie itself is amazing of course, they don't make 'em like this anymore.

Excellent movie, excellent 4K. The 4K disc was flawless. Being that several physical media forums have made it no secret that many 4K discs come with light scratches, ect, I feel very lucky that I have not encountered this issue from any 4K movies thus far from Best Buy.

Great restoration however I don't think this classic will get any better with 8K and beyond. Sound was good considering the era which I believe was even before the earliest stereophonic systems were in use in theaters. A shame Dolby Atmos can't enhance these old movies sound.

One of the greatest films of all time with Humphrey Bogart in a role that was tailor made for him. It's a role that 'dreams were made of.' A salute to an era long ago that should never be forgotten.

One of my all-time favorite movies so I definitely had to pick up the 4k Bluray (still a physical media guy). Looks great and got it for a great price.

With Bogie, you can’t go wrong, you get spade in spades:) but seriously, this is a fantastic film, highly recommend and highly hope we get many many more Humphrey UHDs… sad there was no Steelbook edition though :(

This is one of those movies I could watch again and again. I had previously owned a blu-ray copy, but this is one film I wanted to experience in 4K. The quality of picture and sound is glorious.

This classic film noir looks better than ever in 4K! I definitely recommend upgrading if you love this film. I really hope we see the same upgrade for my other favorite film noir, "The Big Sleep."

The movie that many film historians consider to be the very first example of "film noir"! This is an EXCELLENT movie — with its collection of odd-ball and or duplicitous characters, with their various motivations, all plotting against one another in order to achieve some nebulous goal! This is the movie that cemented Humphrey Bogart as a superstar actor — and, it also changed John Huston from an erstwhile highly-respected screenwriter (and VERY small-time actor, on the side) into a VERY highly-respected screenwriter, and a MUCH sought-after director (with a slightly-more-frequent bit playing acting career, on the side).

They sure don’t make em like they used to. Just good quality film making. No political agenda being shoved in your face here. Enjoy some great cinema in black and white.

First 4k movie on my new 65”LG G2., was clear and sharp, fantastic picture , going to purchase more 4K movies of some of my favorites
