Let's begin with the positive... The original "Matrix", I liked and would have in my library. It had some substance and plot, more or less. But the other two are downhill from there... a steep downhill trip. God-awful is about the best politically correct term I can think of to describe the other two Matrixes. I wish there was some way to get that time back but alas and alack... The Anime is strictly for those who enjoy anime. The package consists of four disks, one disk for each movie. Not much in the way of extra's except in the first disk. Avoid this package if you can.

Just picked this up today, sticker said $12.99 for all 3 Matrix movies plus the Animatrix series on 2 double-sided DVDs. I couldn't believe it!! The original Matrix DVD (just the first movie) was going for $14.99!! What's better is that it rang up $9.99!! Awesome value!! Now, it's just the movies, no DVD extras or deleted scenes but who cares, all I want is to watch the movies!! Great classic movies, Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne are excellent. Had me learning Kung-Fu all over again, FREE YOUR MIND!! WOAH!!

This is a great buy: four movies for one low price. The Matrix series is an interesting and unique story. In the matrix anything is possible; learn martial arts in seconds, jump to great heights, and even stop time. You can't beat this deal; each movie equates to nearly ONLY THREE DOLLARS EACH.

I watched this trilogy while stuck in my apartment due to winter weather. I had only seen the original. Boy, this set didn't disappoint. The second movie was good but the final film tied up all the loose ends. The final movie was spectacular. Sad but hopeful ending. Heart pounding excitment from beginning to end. Very tender love scenes. Loved having all 3 movies together.

Original Matrix is the one to have. The other two are some of the worst science fiction I've ever seen. Both sequels to the original went off the deep end with total confusion of Plot, if there is one and to the "action". I recommend the original but that's it! No, it is not worth getting this package even with the other three discs. Buy the original.
