This was such a great film. I have not read any of the books and so I did not know what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised. This film picked up where the first one left off- thus if you haven't seen the first one, you may want to so as not to be confused. This film answered some of the questions I had from the first film. It had some great action and acting. Also, there were a few scary parts which I absolutely loved. I recommend this film.

I enjoyed this movie. The one thing it suffers form is that it is most obviously the middle of a trilogy. Doesn't really have a beginning or an end. Still having said that I did enjoy watching and am looking forward to the finale. I do hope they don't follow what I consider a bothersome trend and split the final into two more movies. Just give us the last film and be done with it.

The Scorch Trials does actually an amazing job of never letting up. From the first scene to the last, you will be breathless. And that is a good thing. Even more important is that the action kind of rocks in this one. You will not be disappointed by the craziness that is happening on the screen before you. One scene in particular of a chase through a ruined mall is most impressive!

This is another great installment in the Maze Runner series. The packaging and bonus comic book included were top notch. It was also a great value since it included both the DVD and BluRay. Usually I do not care for double packs, but this one is nice. If you're a fan of this series, I highly recommend you pick up this movie! But as with moth series, you should watch #1 first.

this series is very similar to the hunger games, as the first movie was all about a bunch of young teens attempting to survive in a primitive way, and the second of both this series and the hunger games show that a "government /military type group is really using technology to control the young teens outcome through challenges they must survive to move forward.in their quest

The Scorch Trials is an action filled, face paced post apocalyptic thriller with a compelling cast. The movie focuses on a group of young people who have escaped from a prison and a research group searching for a cure to the Flare. This tale has complex issues portrayed by an excellent cast. The visual effects are stunning as are the action sequences. The movie is highly recommended in combination with its predecessor the Maze Runner.

Having read the books, the movies leave out a lot of the cheesy and ridiculous moments from the books. Which have made the movies more grounded I guess. That being said, because they skewed a so much, this film "The Scorch Trials" became very cliché. You can see what's coming next a mile away. I still ended up liking the movie because of the action and pacing though.

I'm not a reader of the books that these movies are based on, but I have enjoyed the movies. I dug the Maze Runner and ended up getting The Scorch Trials having never seen it in theaters. I was extremely entertained by the movie and also by the picture and sound quality of the blu ray. I was lucky enough to get one of the Best Buy limited edition SteelBook covers.

I knew after seeing Maze Runner I wanted to see the sequel to it. Of course I knew it would be different from the book. That is a given with any book to movie franchise. This movie keep me on wonder what will happen next and wanted to see more than once. Hopefully the final chapter to this series will be just as good as the others. One can only hope.

Watched Maze Runner and had to get the scorch trials... Ends on a cliffhanger so obv their will be a 3rd movie, but you learn a lot more about what's actually going on in this movie.. If you've seen the first one and wanna know what's good you have to watch this as well... Good story, comparable to other apocalyptic type storylines but with a different take

Although this movie did not always get great reviews, I enjoyed the adventure and watching the character development as the storyline progressed through the three movies. The 4K version had great video and the audio really enhanced the effects in the film.

I had no interest in The Maze Runner series initially. I had enough with The Divergent saga (terrible) and The Hunger Games (fan of J Law, not the movies). However a friend suggested I watch anyway. I was surprisingly entertained by these movies, Especially the first of the 2 so far. Looking forward to the 3rd edition in February.

The reviews for this and other films in the Maze Runner series have been mixed. But while it doesn't match the intensity of the Hunger Games movies, it is entertaining and kept me interested in what was happening to the characters. If you like this kind of story and keep your expectations in check, you'll have a good time.

The movie is among the best, its part of the trilogy, really love the series. THIS MOVIE IS JUST FANTASTIC. YOU CAN SEE MORE REVIEWS AT IMDB. I JUST WISH EBAY SELLERS WOULD NOT BUY ALL THE STEELBOOKS AND THEN SCALP THEM ON EBAY THIS MUST END. PUT A LIMIT SAY 2 PER CUSTOMER ON PURCHASES OF STEELBOOKS. SHIP THEM IN BOXES NOT BUBBLE WRAP AS THEY ARE ALWAYS DENTED AND DAMAGED.

I enjoyed thd first movie,even though I reluctantly purchased the first one. I just thought it would not be good. A bunch of kids running in a maze?! But I bought the first one and enjoyed it immensely. So,when this second one came out,I didn't hesitate. I enjoyed this as well,good movie. There will be a third. I didn't know the movies are based on a series of books. I just told a relative to buy this movie.

This was a Christmas gift for my 12 year old son. I was glad my 10 year old didn't sit down to watch it with us. We enjoyed it, but the "zombies" were a little frightening and I think it would have given my younger son nightmares. My son and I jumped and yelled throughout this movie (which was great!). There was a twist in the plot that we didn't see coming. We enjoyed it and can't wait for the next movie.

Good zombie post-apocalyptic fun but not as good as the first one.

So I should probably read the books, but not really a book person. I really enjoyed the first movie so had to see the second. Sequels are never as good as the first but I still enjoyed the continuation of the story. Looking forward to the third one. If you saw the first one and liked it, this is a must see. If you are looking to jump in, I would watch the first one so you are not lost.

If you like action, this movie is definitely better than the first installment of the series. Plot moves along briskly with some unexpected twists. However, one disappointing element was the revelation of what effects the "Flare" has on people. Without revealing too much, its effect has been seen before in many, many movies.

Not very impressive, so so movie. waste of money to buy 4k.
