Picks up right after first Maze Runner. Great story and character continuation. If you've seen the first one, you need to see this one! Could stand alone as a good action movie. The end leaves you wanting the next movie without the big cliff hanger

Maze Runner, the Scorch Trials was worth the $. Our 13 year old Granddaughter helped me pick it out, and we watched it with Papa who's 66, and we all enjoyed it. It almost makes the "family movie list" except I wouldn't let anyone much younger watch it in fear of nightmares, it gets a bit graphic with the "Bad Guys".

The movie itself was a little more graphic than the first one. The movie is a bit different from the books, but still a gripping movie with a lot of chase in it. Aside from that, the features offered on the Blu-Ray were great. (Commentaries, Making of, lots of special features included) As with any Blu-Ray disc, the quality of the visual content is crisp, clear and full.

This is a stronger movie than the first one. It could be from the fact the first one was a no expectations movie. I was hoping for at least a good movie, and this was better. It had more drama and action than the first. The soundtrack was better than the first movie. If they make a third, as long as it follows this progression it should be good to watch.

I didn't see the 2nd movie (Scorch Trials) at the theaters, so I took chances when I bought this, and relied on just the previews. I was not disappointed & glad I bought this movie. Scorch Trials is just as interesting as the first one with some new twist and a few zombies, yet don't think they over did it. The movie ended with me definitely wanting to see the next.

Another YA (young adult) book turned movie's sophomore effort falls a little short, like a bridge between a great beginning and a promising end. What's with those underground creatures that every movie like this seems to have? Anyway, the audio and video quality are superb! Near demo material. Extras are good.

The Scorch Trials is a solid teen action flick, completely dystopian as such movies often seem to be. The infected people are more than a bit zombie-like, so if that turns you off, be warned. My son thinks the Maze Runner movies stray too far from the books. I haven't read the books and I enjoyed the movie.

I bought this as a gift to my teenage niece. I want to encourage her to read more and she is a big fan of the Maze Runner series. This Blu-ray package has worked great and included the code for the digital copy so she can take it everywhere with her on her devices. This was a great buy, one I'm very pleased with and know she is enjoying. You can't go wrong here.

I haven't read any of the books in this series so I didnt know what too expect. Needless to say I loved this movie. Completely different style and feel from Maze Runner which was also a great movie. This is turning out to be an excellent franchise and I can't wait for the next film. Great story and cast.

Have NOT read the books. Out of the 3 movies this is the weakest. NOT to say it was bad. The 3rd is more exciting and stars out with a bang! LOVE the steel books for this series! SIDE NOTE: photo says UNRATED, it is PG-13. There is NO UNRATED version in any territory!

Loved it. It was my first time renting on Amazon and it was very clear with how long you'll have it and once you start watching you have 48 hrs to finish. That was fine with me. Once I got it, I opened up Prime Video and it was there and I was happy.

It was curiosity that brought me to the Maze Runner films. Seeing the cover of the books made me wonder, "what are these movies about". Now I'm sort of hooked. I got to find out what happens in the next film. Its too bad the lead actor injured himself, delaying the sequels.

Scorch Trials is good, but not as good as the original Maze Runner. I guess that's because the original was, well, original. Scorch Trials being the second of the movies feels to me that it was just created to set-up the third movie. Still, worth the watch if you like the first one.

I thought the first movie was like What the heck is going on? Then it was like wow... that's messed up. This movie, it looks like the explored more about what's going on and a then a major twist. The plot was not very predictable, so it was well enjoyed and prompted some good discussion of what could be going on afterwards.

As someone who didn't read the books and knows very little about the saga, I was pleasantly surprised by the way that this film answers many of the questions that arose with the 1st film and introduces a new level of treachery and desperation that the youth's have to face.

Maze Runner: Scorch Trials was not as good as the first one, but is still worth seeing. It diverged from the book a little too much in my opinion, and completely changed some of the major plot points. However it is still a good movie, and I love the steelbook packaging.

Picks up right where Maze Runner left off and does a good follow up job for a second in a series movie.waiting for the third one to come out..soon hopefully.Looks and Sounds great on the big screen.I caught both of the movies on a great BB sale.

missed this one in the theaters, and was excited to get it on BluRay. Even better that it was in a steelbook. Good show, but had a surprising amount of profanity compared to the first movie in the series. Can't wait to see the third and last movie in fall of 2016

Love, love, love this movie!!! I've watched it over 5 times already, and still really enjoy it every time I watch it. Very inspiring story and presented in an excellent way. I plan to keep this movie for years and to watch it with my kids when they are old enough to follow/understand.
