As a 3D lover, I picked this up (blind buy) knowing it would be a cheesy, over-the-top, popcorn movie (c’mon, it’s Jason Statham!) and it doesn’t disappoint. The 3D didn’t really knock my socks off, but I felt it was nice enough, no regrets. After watching it, I felt the movie is better than it has any right to be and I really enjoyed it.

Little more of a thriller than a horror movie. Special Effects were great! Recommended!!!!!

I waited my whole for a good shark movie and they finally made one that was worth it. A fun Blockbuster shark movie to watch.

I was honestly hoping for a movie that was remotely close to the written word,but of course this almost had nothing to do with the book other than the Meg and various characters names. 3 stars may be too much for this particular film,but it’s worth at least a view for you to decide yourself . Mildly entertaining but not worth purchasing.
