I didn’t get to see this in theaters but anything shark related gets me super excited and I have to watch them all no matter what. The Meg was a well done movie and I will tell you one thing. Brody would not have had a boat big enough!

Picked up the 4k steelbook on sale. Don't overthink it. The soundtrack in 4k is superb, as well as the picture, and it's in the same vein as most other Jason Statham films. Big. Loud. Fun.

It ends in typical shark movie fashion, but the story was actually pretty decent and it wasn't cheesy in any way to bridge gaps or create fluff. It was entertaining. I'd give it 3½ stars

Loved the movie. A lot of action and a lot of scary scenes.

This may make you afraid to go in the ocean like it did for a lot of people after seeing Jaws. If you liked Jaws, you should like this also. If you haven't seen Jaws be afraid to go in the ocean after seeing this Enjoy.

While we have had many shark movies over the years, this one entertains with a good story and good acting. As gthe moves progresses, it just gets bigger and more exciting.

I love Jason Statham movies and The Meg doesn't disappoint. Just a fun little action adventure flick that honestly is fine for the whole family to enjoy. And it is one of the best crystal clear images I've seen on a disc all year!

I was skeptical about this movie. I thought it would be mostly over the top computer generated graphics but I was wrong. Obviously there were some but it was well done. I recommend it.

The Meg does not disappoint ... The film really picks up early and delivers all the way through ... Jason stratum plays a good character in this film and the whole movie is on the edge of your seat excitement .

The Meg is a very interesting take. Yeah you throw in some cliches as it is what it is but then you also throw in so different takes on the horror that is the shark.

I truly didn’t know what to expect with this movie. However I was very impressed with how much we enjoyed watching this movie. Not as predictable as I thought it was going to be.

I actually enjoyed this movie. It borrows a lot from Jaws, the Shallows and the usual giant shark movies. Story is quite good. A definite recommendation for shark week.

The MEG is a very good sci-fi movie with enough excitement throughout to make it worthwhile entertainment. Based on a historical 75-foot shark, the premise is believable.

The Meg reminded me of the shark movies (jaws series) from the 70's and 80's). Love the actors, and the visual effects are so much better now. Just an all around good time.

There were definitely some corny parts, as you get with most shark movies, but overall a good movie. The 4K quality was worth the extra couple dollars to go from BluRay to 4K disc and Best Buy also had a great price on it.

This movie at first glance was thinking it's probably kinda boo but I like action movies so yeah I was definitely impressed with the action and even though nothing will ever top Jaws, this movie is freaking awesome!!!

I thought the movie was pretty good up until the end ,where there was suddenly 2 MEGS ,it should have been rated R ,special effects were good ,a enjoyable movie worth watching

To me it's in the same vein as Deep Blue Sea, good action with a weird story and plenty of shark action. Really enjoyed it, B-movie with A-movie budget. Highly reccomend.

Since I own a 165” home theater at home it was still just amazing! Jaws is always going to be epic, but this was finally a nice spin and a new twist n the shark story. Its worth the purchase for replay ability alone.
