Very good movie, never knew the US Army had a unit just recovering artifacts as depicted in this movie. Eye opening, yet sad what was depicted and the loss of art forever during the war.

The movie has a great plot but the way the story was presented was just a little too drawn out. What makes it ok is all the big name actors in the movie. But, no stellar performances here.

I enjoyed the movie a lot The story was well told and is something people don't generally think about durring war. it's not the best WWII film but definitly worth watching and owning.

Missed getting to see this in theaters but it was excellent viewing at home without being disturbed while enjoying it. The cast was great and the film seemed to bring out the true feeling of what was done to save historic art from Hitler and his empire.

While taking some literay license, the story is excellent and entertaining. I love period pieces about WWII in the European theater. Comedy relief mixed in with actual historical facts. Have watched it 5 times now and still enjoy it. A keeper.

movie was good actors were good if the points in the movie were true some "facts" were jaw dropping ...interesting but sad to know that all those people lost lives.

Excellent movie showing the real heroism of men and women trying to save some of the greatest art treasures before they were destroyed by the insane dictator of Germany.

I greatly enjoyed this movie, it was a story that needed to be told. It exposed the true horrors of greed shaming many countries. Thanks to George Clooney for telling this great story and all those that took part in the making of this movie it was splendid!

A great blu ray transfer sadly portrays a sub standard plot and some poor acting. Overall the movie is very good, but a little disappointing with all the preview hype that it got.

Overall a good movie. I remember when trailers first came out, it was billed as a serious movie. Later trailers hinted more comedy & light heartedness, which seemed to fit better.

Had higher hopes with this but a good cast. Started looking up the history behind the story.

If you like WWII historical stories, Monuments Men is a good one. Although the story is not widely known, they do a good job of telling it, although with a few artistic freebies.

I thought the movie was going to be more of a comedy than a serious movie. However there were some funny parts giving the situation the actors were in. All in all it was a very interesting story behind WWII and the art pieces Hitler was trying to steal.

When I enter best buy, I'm welcomed and greeted. There always someone to help me when it's needed and gives me enough time to look around when I need to see the merchandise

I'm not sure why the critics slammed this film so badly. I and everyone I know loved it. It was a fascinating glimpse into a part of the war with which I was unfamiliar. Likeable actors and beatiful art only make it better. Definitely worth watching.

If your the kind of person who enjoys watching army action movies then this movie is for you. It's a great movie I recommend it don't want to spoil it but so worth watching.

A very clean movie, not much bloody violence, which is sometimes better than all the blood and guts you normally see in war films. There are a lot of accomplished actors and light comedy scenes in this movie which makes it fun to watch.

I paid $8 for this movie and I loved it. The story line based on a true story was intriguing, funny, sad,and educational . George Clooney role was fantastic.

This was a great movie and all-around acting about a world war 2 story that was brought to life about a band of men saving priceless treasures towards the end of the war.
