This movie was really good, strong acting and skillful moves, the ending should have been better, not enough detail to conclusion, the young actors in this movie did a great job performing those roles, outstanding.

I absolutely love this movie. I love the storyline in the movie & books. I am a huge fan. I watch it once a week or more. I cannot wait for the next one to come out. If you like Harry Potter, Vampire Academy, Twilight, & movies/book series like these, then you will definitely love Mortal Instruments.

There are tons of movies out there about vampires, covens, mysterious people who can do mysterious things. This is another one of those. The cast is attractive, so that adds a bit to the overall enjoyment.

This movies is pretty exact to the books. There is a lot of action, drama, and entertainment. I wouldn't recommend this for younger children as some things may be too frightening. (Demons, Monsters, Etc)

I purchased the dvd The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, because I've seen it before. I think it's a good movie and I would definitely recommend it to others to watch. I like the actors in the movie.

Movie is what was expected. Worth the view. Disc pkg received had the Blu-Ray and the DVD discs but no digital copy which is a feature I use and wanted.

If you buy this make sure your tv is a good/newer model. the dark sceens are very dark. If you dont have the rite electronics it wont look very good. other wise great movie if your into this kind of stuff

Really good movie with very good special effects . LILY COLLINS and Jamie Campbell head a good cast in an alternate existing world of vampires , ware wolves , mystical creatures , all within our modern day world. A fight between good and evil for saving our world.

I have read these books twice and while it was a lot of information to get into a few hours and I know they left some information out, I really enjoyed the movie and really liked who they cast.

I saw this movie before reading the book. It was great!! It prompted me to read all 5 released books and am now starting the spin off series. The characters are well developed and the actors were well chosen for the parts. There is a good amount of action and great special effects.

I've read the books and I love them. I thought most the characters were perfectly cast and overall it was a very good representation of the book. I was disappointed in a couple of changes from the story, but purchased it and continue to watch it. I can't wait for the next movie!

This movie got bad reviews. Too much happens in the first movie so I can see why they didnt make a sequel but I actually liked it enough to buy it. Is was something different

This is a DVD that I bought for my daughter's collection. She found it a bonus when it came with a digital copy.

I liked this story when I first saw it and it seems TV producers did too. Not too different from other similar movies but, different enough that I purchased it.

If you read the books, parts of the movie make more sense. I think the movie is well done. Can't wait for the next one.

Love the movie, and the book. It has excellent love story with great action that is mixed into. I enjoy the fight between Valentine, and Jace. If you love Twilight, you will love Mortal Instrument. I watch many times, and I never get sick watching it.

I bought this for my mom because we have read all the books and she absolutely loves this movie. Plus with the disc you get behind the scenes features that she really enjoyed.

Having read all the mortal instrument books, we bought the movie after seeing it in the theater. I would like to see the others made into movies, and hopefully some will. If you like the supernatural/real life mix, this is a good one.

Its kind of like twilight. But better. Its got a bigger story to it than just the love affair and plenty of room to grow with how many books there are.

This movie is very entertaining. It is not the best movie ever but it will take your mind off of things for a couple of hours. Worth the watch
