This game is amazing. If you into metroidvania style of game this game will feel right at home. Also this game is very addicting

A pretty good Metroidvania game that is much better received than the 2017 film it was based on. The game has a great soundtrack with 16-bit inspired graphics. I’m at the first major boss battle and it’s pretty challenging! Definitely worth picking up from Best Buy. Love they stock Limiter Run titles now.

I originally passed over getting this from Limited Run Games themselves as I didn't think I'd like the game. Was I ever wrong, it's a very fun Metroidvania type game with 16-bit inspired graphics and a kickin soundtrack. It intricately understands what made games like this from the SNES era fun and replicates them for a game loosely based on a movie that quite frankly wasn't very good. Check it out if you liked Metroid or Mega Man.

Excellent Metroidvania game from WayForward based on the okay but flawed 2017 The Mummy reboot starring Tom Cruise. It has great retro pixel graphics, excellent music, and offers a fair but challenging gameplay. Hopefully they can rerelease their Aliens Infestation Metroidvania that was on Nintendo DS too on N. Switch and PS4.

The mummy demastered is a metroidvania video game, it has good graphics ( retro style ), nice audio for a 16 - bit, several levels in 2D, nonlinear. You can use different weapons, upgrades and magical artifacts during the game. You will enjoy playing this game.

My BB copy went missing in the shipping process but I was able to retrieve a copy somewhere else. Sorry BB. However, if you like hard-to-beat old-school platformers, this is for you. At least, it is hard for me :D

This is one of those games you look at and think that it’s just one of those not so great movie based games. This game is definitely not one of those games. It it is a fun action exploration game like Castlevania or Metroid. You play a completely new character that is trying to contain the Mummy and her monsters. The development team, WayForward, has done a good job and should be praised for their work. Even if you cannot find the physical copy of this game I would still recommend the digital one.

One of the most slept on games in my opinion. I feel like the movie tie in scares folks off a bit. Absolutely killer metroidvania with a Run n gun vibe. Way forward did an above and beyond job on a licensed game, something you don’t see a lot of these days. Especially for a movie that, well... probably isn’t that great (haven’t seen it, and don’t plan on it).

Fun game. Recomended to anyone who enjoyed the early Metroid games.

If you can ignore the atrocity of a movie this Game could practically be a stand alone and that’s a good thing. It’s extremely well done and you can tell love was put into it but it’s marred down by the movie. I think that’s the sad part why people over look this Game. Don’t sleep on it it’s definitely worth a try especially if you love Metroid.

This has great game written all over it. Gave it a playthrough and those 16bit graphics are awesome to see on the switch. Not to mention the company Wayforward who had done the Shantae series have always been one of my favorite developers

Great game, heavily influenced by Metroid or Castlevania, mostly Metroid. Awesome pixel art, huge recommendation from me if you’re into retro style games.

WayForward never disappoints in the quality of their games. They managed to take an awful movie and spin it into a fantastic and rewarding Metroidvania style game. Cannot recommend this title enough!

Don't be deceived by the relation to the film, this is a great game on its own. Lots of exploring, weapons, and crazy creatures to encounter.

A fantastic run'n gun with an old school feel. The pixel art is beautiful. If you're a fan of SNES classics and looking for a bit of nostalgia, look no further.
